Nurul Hasan Sohan
I'm not at all confident of Anam's keeping in the longer versions, and Sohan looks fine behind the stumps. Played well the other day too. And Sohel rates him as a long term prospect. Stats are not great at the moment, but seems he has the right ingredients to become successful.
Thoughts on him?

A good gloveman and has the talent to become a good basmen. Played some good looking shots in the last game that he played. A future potential for sure.

I rate him highly. He's our WK of the future for sure.

Really liked his keeping and batting. Also impressed with his attitude which is important in a keeper. Like I've said before, I think it's in Mushy's best interest for him to take the gloves off for Tests and just focus on batting and captaincy while giving the gloves to Sohan. Keep him as a keeper for the shorter forms. It's not a knock against Mushy's keeping, I just think that his batting would be far better without the worry of keeping. Instead of having Naeem in there, who I'm not completely sold on yet, I think it's better if Mushy bats at #4/5 in Tests.

Ctgs answer to Anamul? Looks promising. Great to see so many talented young players coming through.

He's no Anamul. Anamul is probably one of your best batting prospects ever. Good thing about Sohan is he can keep much better (from what I've seen) - Anamul is going to be terrible in tests if he keeps.

Anamul struggles really bad against pace bowling... the best thing about Anamul is his temperament, talent and ability wise they are not too far apart...

That's way too much of an exaggeration. He is work in progress, but among your current batsmen, I would bet him on scoring big against any quality pace attack over any other batsman.
Besides he was top scorer in U19 world cup in Australia. So he's far from 'terrible'.

I see potential in his batting as well. Maybe not exactly for the longer formats but for ODIs and T20s.

No doubt. Anamul seems a league above everyone else. But thrilled to see another new comer come out of the blue and bat so well. Tries way too many shots, but hopefully with the right coaching he ll get better. What Ctg is doing with him is what Dhaka did with Anamul last season. Hopefully next year we ll see young Sohan get more runs.

His keeping has been magnificent. Beyond doubt, best keeper this year.
But his batting has been just roundabout par.
Good thing is that he is still young and can improve.

I have doubts about his batting in longer formats in more challenging conditions. Otherwise, definitely someone to keep an eye on under the radar
