D-Day: I believe!
For me, this is D-Day. I head to the airport in a few hours.
Tickets for the opening match, India vs Bangladesh: $NNN
Tickets for the flight to Dhaka: $NNNN
Having a wonderful wife who wants me to go and enjoy this once in a lifetime opportunity: PRICELESS
And you know what? I believe.
I will be at the stadium on the 19th. And my voice cheering our team will be the loudest. It does not matter what happens - they are out there giving their all. The least I can do is to give them my all.
So my salute to all 15, to Iceman Shakib, to Steely Tamim, to Steady Imrul, to Mercurial Ashraful, to Obdurate Rock, to Tricky Razzaq, to Speedy Rubel, to Swinging Shafiul, to Tenacious Zunaed, to Godfearing Shuvo, to Speedy Nazmul, to Chhokka Nayeem, to Rugged Riyad, to Subtle Nafees and to Multiloquent Mushfique!
And to the coaches Jamie, Ian, Julien, Henry and Grant.
And to all those behind the scenes whose names never make it to press.
I believe.
GO TIGERS!
I had said it before and I will say it again: If we win, they will have to take me out in cuffs.
Let the party never end!
GO TIGERS! I believe! We are with you.

You know what I meant. In a hurry. Haven't packed yet. I bet I forget something - I hope not the tickets.

^ There you go, see what I mean (on that other slogan thread). People make it look so easy, when I get down to it, I can't think of anything that goes well together! I have B.E.L.I.E.V.E on my sig for a while, only because I couldn't come up with anything for those letters
BTW Doc Z, you missed Henry. Good luck and enjoy.

Good for you, I like the words, how many husbands describe their wives as priceless. I have had so many upheavals for 11 yrs travelling around the world due to my hubby's job, but I have never been called priceless.

Actually, from what I know about Boss, he's one lucky man. Between him and his wife, they divvy up the responsibilities. Boss is responsible for the bigger stuff - things like global warming, world poverty, peace in the middle east, etc. And our beloved bhabi (boss's wife) is responsible for the smaller stuff - things like what boss should eat, what he should wear, what he should say, etc. etc.
Boss...have I nailed that?

Since you can't take any banners, Boss can you decorate your head so we can recognize you.

I'm here. In Dhanmondi. Right in front of Rifles Square a group of young kids in BD jerseys were shilling game tickets. On the way back to Dhanmondi, I overheard a snippet of a cell phone conversation "original ticketed daam 500 taka ami apnake dibo .... " couldn't hear what he was asking for.

^ Just a quick question, when did you leave for Dhaka? I mean last night around this time (9:30 PM here) I read one of your posts that said "1 our till I start packing" or something like that.
So you've reached there in a day?
