Well, BCB is trying something different I guess. However, there is little going on for the last two nominees performance wise. They are being considered just due to being senior.

Typical BCB. Something drastic always has to be done after a WC.

This is not a bad idea to make 3 captain for 3 format.
But Ash as a captain looks funny to me. I think they can find other person in place of him.

Not a bad idea. BCB has limited choice .Other than Tamim and Shakib no other BD player is good in all 3 formats. Shakib is performing quite well without the burden of captaincy and Tamim is not quite ready yet for the role . Mash has injury problem. So he cant play test matches regularly .He will take charge of the ODI team . Mushfiq is quite good in test matches and same goes to Ash as a T20 player . Its a big gamble though !!

I like this. Something had to be done. At least some competition between the captains can't be bad!

As Rabz said...these are potential nominees guys, so don't get too stuck on these names. Then again when you look at our player pool, if we head in this direction....there really isn't many other names that stand out aside from the very obvious Shakib.

If there needs to be any change in captaincy, then I'd say make Shakib captain of our T20I team. That's it. Mushfiq should and will remain captain for the ODIs and Tests.

Exactly what i thought. I think Shakib would be the best T20 captain. And thats it. Leave Mushfiq as test and ODI captain. Not this Ashraful, TAshraful...

I like this idea.....england do this and so does Pak. I dont think it will last long though. After maybe one year they will see which captain made biggest impact to the team and then they would make them captain across all the formats again.

Another thing, a captain can't impact much if the players themselves aren't ready to take it up a notch.

At least DaRok, thanks to his brilliantly successful captaincy of the A Team, is still in contention. He should captain the T20I side because of all those 6s he has hit recently. I'm lobbying for Nazimuddin to become our test captain.
