Day 5: Ban - Zim 1st Test
I could not watch the whole 4th day of this test match. I was online until it was lunch at which point Zimbabwe was 39/1. Then when I woke up this moring, went online, hoping to see some promising report, I found .... what .....!! I really feel sorry for all those people who were sitting in front of the computer, watching the whole post lunch sessing and going through some excruciating pain when BD started batting.
I myself was a cricketer when I was in BD. If I would play in place of Habibul Bashar, I would perform better, at least in this test match. I am sure all of you would perform better than our captain. Where to hide this pain and shame?

i\'m looking
i'm looking for a place to hide. see the worst part is, we are again in front of the pc, hoping for some miracle on day 5. doesn't matter how cruelly the team deprives us, we rebuild our hope and come back. its like that poor guy in greek myth ( i forgot his name) who were cursed that he has to roll over a huge stone uphill a mountain. it fell off everytime he tryed, and he had to start all over again. are we any better?

I wish they could bat out till lunch. what do you think guys? last night, heath streak didn't even bowl. I am sure this morning, he will rip through our tail.
One good thing though, tail will be ripped, so nobody would call the team a bunch of monkys.

We are not at the tail yet. Besides, Rajin is still there. Masud is in form. The first hour is crucial.

hi billah, its nice to see someone is still optimistic. i don't personally however, see the innings going for one full session. just hope that there will not be any new record such as the our lowest score or (one of the) largest defeat or something like that.

I donot have any idea what our cricket team going to do.But I have an idea how BD fans(poor soul) can prepare to watch a BD cricket match.
TOP TEN THING YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BEFORE YOU WATCH A BD GAME
10. Keep all sharp objects away from your reach.
9. Write "BD might loose, and it is OK! It is just a Game" 100 times
8. Buy some antidepressent Medicine.
7. Learn how to do CPR
6. Keep your children locked up in their room because you donot want them to learn that "loosing is ok!"
5. Patch up all the disagreement with your mother or wife, because you might not able to do so after the game.
4. Put a note " My Computer monitor has nothing to do with the score at all"
3. Remind yourself once in a while you need to win!!(For your own life)
2. Keep first aid box available. If you have high blood pressure do not watch the game at all.
1. Make a phsychiatrist appointment for the next day of the game. And cook some good food for the end of the game to cheer yourself up.

Problem is only fans are learning from the experience, not the BD team. For example, Ashraful went fishing for a off (wide) delivery.

What we really need is this.
These two must survive till lunch. From there each partnership must survive at least 20 over. If they can, Inshallah we can draw.
