South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. So, I guess no point of watching the bowling as we all know SA will atleast take today and 2mrrw for their batting.

At the moment the score is South Africa 23/0 (11.3 ov).
The Bowling so far isn't bad, both the bowlers are getting very economic thats a good sign but we need to take wickets. Wickets are not falling. There were many shouts for lbws but all were rejected. One was ver close from Mashraffe. I think that Gibbs was almost out but was not given by Bowden.

SMITH GONE!!
Tapash got Smith caught at the mid wicket fence. SA are 30 for 1. They really ought to have been 30 for 2. Gibbs gloved a catch to Selim the previous over but Billy Bowden didn't give it out.

Dippenaar gone. Rafique got another wicket.
"25.5 Mohammad Rafique to Dippenaar, OUT: well forward, pad bat, loops forward, Omar dives across to the middle of the pitch, takes it just off the pitch, Bucknor agress"

YAHOOOOOOOO!
This was our best single session since our innaugural Test Match. Brilliant stuff from our bowlers after losing the toss. 3 wickets before lunch is beautiful. GO RAFIQUE! GO BANGLADESH!!!

Still sham bhai I'm really worried .... Mckanzie and Boucher still got to come. They may thrash us like hell who knows. So I don't wanna get too excited now.

Great stuff from Rafique. Even Sujon is showing some character. For once I'll stay awake and follow the second session...lets hope we arent celebrating too soon.

Actually, Shujon took Gibb's wicket.Bowling 5 consecutive maidens forced Gibbs, who's normally a pretty agressive player, to come down the track. And also I don't think Dipenaar was out.But then again Mash had Gibbs earlier.I guess two wrongs might make a right sometime....

don't worry about getting thrashed. that will happen inevitably. but if we can get on top for a session, maybe a day, then that is progress...

I hope sujon keeps the pressure up after lunch - an area we need to improve in and who can blame him, we never seem to be in a position to apply pressure.

i think we've done pretty well today compared to our usual standards.. but we've let them off the hook a little bit.. from 170/5 we should've atleast got a few more wickets today.. and kept the total below 300.. now it seems that pollock is set and a 350 up seems likely..
