yes that is true. But it does not lessen the offense. If ICC don't fine him, team management should fine him to make it clear that unsportsmanlike behavior has no place in Bangladesh team

Are you ok ? I didn't see anything wrong from Rahim about giving that look and roar towards the batsmen. We should feel the spirit of hungry Royal Bengal Tigers at the field.

They are expected to play like Tigers and behave like human. That was of bad taste to shout at him after he is out, more over Ned is an associate team, nothing to show arrogance here.

Show your arrogance/aggressiveness with shehwag/Dhoni/Smith/Pnting etc teams above, i will accept it better.

But I dont think he should be fined.

Starting with the associate team is not a bad idea. They will show arrogance and aggressiveness against Shehwag, Dhoni, Brian McMillan, Ponting etc too. Just wait and see.

Swann's actions were of bad taste too and he was fined for it. For Mushfiq, I think a warning should be good enough for now. Swann is much more experienced and a senior player so fine was necessary.

Occasionally people may have been not fined but usually I have seen that they got big fine for even lesser send off's

Example - http://www.espncricinfo.com/indvaus2...ry/374809.html
Zaheer just went around the batsmen and did considerably less than what Mushfiq did today.

It's a part of the game people. Grow yourselves. Be a bit tough. Definitely the batsman said something to Mushi before. 'Verbal words exchange' you know!

Not only Shakib. If Dhoni did it to any Bangladeshi batsmen...You will see so many threads bashing the Indians and BCCI. They will say ICC stands for Indian Cricket Council.

Then Indian members will be thinking 100 times before visiting the forum.

absolutely nothing wrong with that. dhoni doing theatrics is not why i don't like him (note: don't have anything against dhoni...totally neutral about him).

Mushy didn't say anything. And if he's a sissy for only doing it to minnows, then our entire team is a sissy for not being a top team. Our whole country is a sissy for not having nuclear weapons in a nuclear neighborhood. We could go on and on.

This thread had gone from "should Mushy be fined for his behavior" to "is Mushy a sissy" thread...

Shouldn't be fined but it was not good to see, I wonder if he would do the same thing against a top nation rather than a minnow?

I doubt he even said anything, at least didn't look like it on TV. Just gave Kervezee a nasty look, and seeing how often fast bowlers walk up to batsmen in their follow through and check 'em out top to bottom like they were Cindy Crawford, I hardly see anything unacceptable in Mushy's behavior.

Junaid should be fined for being afraid of bowlers mouthing off at him.

Yes, Junaid should say some words strongly back to the bowlers when they will do sledging at him.
