Things to do and not to do against India!!!
Guys,
After watching the IND VS WI warm up match highlight I feel certain things BD shouldn do at all and certain things BD should do. Tokin bout our bowling, we shldnt at all give short pitch deliveries at all coz most Indan batsman can smash them. I m worried with Shahadat giving too many short deliveries. 2ndly, we need to bowl a tight line and length. Comin to batting, we have to b very careful, especially aftab, ashraful, tamim should see to it that they dont carried away by the loose deleveries of Indian bowloers. There are certain oda things..
I would like to see some oda points if u guys wld want to note here..

im sure there will be plenty of loose deliveries from indian bowlers
my main concern is our spinners. most of successes have huge contributions from spinners. and ind and sl are the best teams against spin...much depends on mash..

Win the toss, ask them to bat, restrict bellow 250, chase it - a win of 4 to 3 wickets.
Whatelse??

I think shahadat can get very expensive. Damn, we don't have a 3rd seamer.

Dont take much pressure. Dont chase balls way out side off or leg stamp. Play easy game and win.

Fielding needs to be improved. So far, our fielding was below par and it may decide the matches.
Also need allround performances.. Not only from Nafees, Mashrafe.. every player counts

We need the killer instinct to finish the job when we are in a dominating position, if at all. Often we get into a good position, whether an early breakthrough from our bowlers or a solid opening partnership, and then things go wrong. We can't allow any margin for error if we want to beat India in this competition.

Dont worry its not just you.........my frustration was aimed at many of the people in this forum. If it was a difficult word then i'd understand, but its just a four-letter word......and too many people have made that mistake......so yeah. Sorry dude......here you can have a hug

1) prevent wicket collapse after a wicket falls. it seems to me that the pithces are not that easy to play on. new batsmen need to take time to settle in.
2) keep the bowling pressure on. if the bowlers are nice and attacking from the beginning, i'm sure BAN can restrict one of the team under 200 or even 150... no j/k
btw, who's relaying these info back to the team?

if they get batting........ they should make a solid start, be careful about munaf patel and irfan pathan..a 50+ opening or second pair partnership will make indias bowling loose..
if they get bowling....they should very much stick to length and line ,not giving room to indian batsmen..
during fielding........... should not drop any catch, and make halfchances a cath......fast running....to grab the ball may cause indian batsman run out
Overall allways they have to be positive,
Hey God! make Bangladesh win

JEEZ.. I'm not sure who's more annoying; Some of the "SPELL CHECK" agents we have here pointing out simple mis-spells (cricket_king) or some of these really COOL slang users who make it real difficult to read their points (Lance-Klusner)?

It's impossible to do that...we can only include 2 pacers, or MAX 3. And the downside is, then we have to replace one of our spinners who can actually bat better than the 3rd pacer.

i have noticed in the warm up matches bd bowlers gave away too many extra runs comparing to those given by the opponents(not taking acccount of the leg byes). It is needless to tell how important is the bowling discipline in those compititive matches. They must work out on this regardless of whom they are facing. Apart from those bowlers are doing a1 job. I am pround of them.

Good one cricket_king! LMAO
btw yuo ought nto b corecting simpl mistakes by othrs as a maens of genaral courtasy!
the same reason thats holding me back from telling you- you've misused the word "Its" in your last post where you were supposed to be using "it's".
see below for a brief description:
"It's" is a contraction. It is short for "it is". It's not a way to ascribe a property to some "it".
"Its" is a possessive pronoun. Its interpretation is something like "that which belongs to it".

Don't fall between the wicket while running! ... Bashar, Ash.
Don't fall into sleep while fielding! ... Nafees.
Don't blast every ball! ... Tamim, Aftab.
Don't bowl short! ... Rasel, Shahadat.

I will be practical, those two teams are hard to beat in their present form, but ODI can go anyway on a given day and on our day, we showed we could get them!! What I would rue tremendously would be two things, any of our suicidal run-out or dropping of catches!! We can't just afford to give a second life to Jaysurya-Sangakkara-Jaybardhan or Sehwag-Ganguly-Tendul-Dravid-Dhoni!!
