Question: how much money do our cricketers get?
I'm talking about National Team members salary because i saw that The MOM in the Afro XI vs Asia XI matches will get 10,000 U.S dollors and thats 6 lahk Taka (600000). So i was just wonering how much money do our cricketers get? So for any Bangladeshi players that get selected to the squad there might be a little extra inscentive for playing.

Depends on many factors. If the player is one of the select 11 that get montly allowance, he gets a monthly salary.
Each player gets paid for each national match they are selected. Plus the bonus.
My guess is players like Sumon/Rafiq or Pilot makes around 10 lakhs.

in any type of start-ups you have to spend more money
in the begining to invite talents. they involve: coaches, players, physicians etc. to run a successful team.
to keep talents you need to reward them for their performance.
fully commercialize cricket; to support players salary
and also to give profit margin back to the investors
garments/gas industry has a huge revenue they should invest in the team for few years

Is that a yearly salary? If it is, I say they are still underpaid.

How much each cricketer makes should be top secret.
Money and fame are like monkey on loose. When it enters into our head, it start doing all weird stuff to us (cricketers as well as fans). The less we know about how much they make the better every body will be.

As long as they are offering good price/performance ratio we shouldn't concern ourselves. But one thing we sometime forget is that the cricketers also must play for the country. No amount of money can buy your patriotism. I remember Pilot saying something to the effect of "For my country ... I will bat/play until I die"

Our players are graded...
I seen in the newspaper that Bashar, Rafique & Mashud is in garde and then Ash, Aftab in b grade and enam and others who not often...just for test are in c grade,,,
they get money accordingly...
Their salary might increase upon their perfomance and also upon their mathces played...

do they get any tax break? or is it 100% tax break? I think the players not only get paid by the board but by also various sposors. I know the the BD team players gets between $125 to $500/game for using cricketing equipment of a particular company. I'm not sure though, but i think the estimation is roughly around that range.
Considering the average age and what ppl in our country earn around that age, its a pretty well-balanced figure.
