Lets talk about Tamim
I know there are lot of tamim fans out there. I am one of them as well. Its not about form only, he has been in the team along with shakib, mushfiq but he hasn’t won us matches the way shakib and mushfiqur or riyad did in high pressure games. He is one of the most senior player but failed to deliver in all the world cups he has played except for the 50 on debut. He had a terrible 2011, 2015 and 2019 run in the wc. If one of your most senior player cant perform at the highest level then whats the point investing all those years on a failed player? Let’s face it, tamim came before t20 era and had a glimpse of Saeed Anwar and occasional brainfarts of dancing down the track. But one day cricket has changed. Tamim is more suited in tests than one dayers. He wastes way to many balls to get settled and then throws it way putting the team in trouble. Just imagine if Tamim could played half of what shakib played then we would be in a good position. Tamim has just been rubbish and bd is carrying this rubbish on its shoulder. His dropped catch of Rohit really set the tone for this loss!

Tamim is a minnow basher, performs in non-critical series. I have said this many many times, he never fired in any games where BD needed to win.
I will forgive him for dropping the catch as it is part of of te game and he also took many unbelievable flying catches before. But he should have batted more responsively. He is more of a test player than a T20 or ODI player. He wasted so many balls in this world cup.
Anyway, we need to fire Walsh also and get McKenzy type of bowling coach from SA.

Take a long break from LOI cricket. Focus on test matches for 6months. Or just retire from LOI. Choose one or other, to stay at ODI or to leave T20s because world T20 coming up and Bangladesh certainly can not have a tuk tuk at top when theres Liton and Soumya (both despite having Ashraful esque ways to get out, are more dangerous batsmen when they get going and the opponent will worry about).

He has a terrible record in the most important matches. Even in the tri-nation series final it was Soumya who was scoring

He's done jack this WC. He used to be reliable and stay there for more than half the innings.

If I invite him, he will head to the kitchen and finish the pot even before the waiter has the chance to serve it.

Not saying Tamim did great, infact he was a big let down. However Soumya didn't even get to score a half-century in this entire world cup.

Tamim has been always poor in World Cups. He is one of the best opening batsman but he can’t maintain the same intensity and form at World events. It is a shame as he has abilities.

His first World Cup performance is etched in history and most cricket fans, including a vast majority of Indians, will never forget that innings. Despite such a promising start he's been poor ever since. So ironic!

Nothing really to talk about, his performances were as expected.
He will recover his form for bilateral series, we will call him world class and be full of praises etc

It's so true. But he was a reliable fielder before today's match.

Mentally weak player. The occasion gets to him everytime we have a crunch game. Otherwise why would a safe fielder like him drop an easy catch or a wonderful batsman like him have a lean patch in WCs?

Imam Ul Haq is the better nephew. He is slow as well, but at least he didn't take years to improve his average.

Tamim had a bad world cup. Perhaps because he wanted it too badly. In a funny way too much eagerness to do well might have impacted his performance. Still our greatest ever Opener and the best batsmen we ever produced along with Mushy. Form is temporary, class is permanent and he is all class - On and off the field.

He will come good again insha Allah. He was going through the best batting time of his life until this world cup.... the worst time to lose form. same thing Happened to Martin Guptill by the way...

Actually I prefer Ebadot over Taskin. His seam position is so beautiful. He really should have been taken to the WC this time

He himself said in an ICC interview one liner that he is playing the role of 'sheet anchor'. My question is WHICH MORON murubbiana atel told him to play like that and change his approach? So that he can dish us a savoring 200 every innings by getting 'settled'? Pst.
You adapt in cricket moron. There is no template for genius.
