He should have got it at least ten years ago. Never too late though. It will be a great day for Bangladesh when and if it ever happens.

if Taslima nasrin can be nominated(not insulting her writings or supporters) whats wrong with he getting it? But most probably he will be rejected. I could not find who else is nominated. I just read in newspaper Clinton urged committee to consider him. There should be more lobbying.
His policy "lending to poor" has been adapted by almost all lenders and it's very successful in all sorts of lending...I wish he gets rewarded for it.

He didn't get it.
STOCKHOLM, Sweden Oct 10, 2005 — The Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded Monday to a pair of American and Israeli researchers who defined chess-like strategies in politics and business that can be applied to arms races, price wars and actual warfare.
Israeli-American Robert J. Aumann and U.S. citizen Thomas C. Schelling won the award for research on game theory, a branch of applied mathematics that uses models to study interactions between countries, businesses or people.

Sad, I was hoping he gets it. Oh well, I think he will eventually get it in the next 10 years.

Dr. Younus is never going to get the Economics prize. He has a chance with the peace prize.
