what was most impressive about this win?
for me it was the utter domination of it. winning by 7 wickets with 5 overs to spare and 2 of your better batsman at the crease is as emphatic as they come. this was our easiest win against G8 sides that we've had and to do it against a team aiming for number 2 spot in the world is quite an achievement. that too minus a guy who the coach thinks is our "best player at the moment" (raqibul).
its doubly sweet given the last time we met up, BB destroyed us with 80 of 27 or something.

Ash's captaincy [xcept Rasel should have gotten 1-2 more over...], Ash's Eid, Mash's Bowling+Raz, Z's batting,Musy proving a point that we dont need Dhiman G[h]osh!!

A few things:
- Mash is a world class bowler (most of us already knew this)
- Zunaid is a viable opener for us, particularly in the long version as he has the talent and the patience to stick through tough conditions
- Ash is our best captain and still has it with the bat!

I liked that it was a full TEAM effort. It was not just Ashraful who won the match for us. The thing that I am starting to see that gives me a lot of hope for the future is we now have many batsmen who can win us a game. Back in the Whatmore days, it was basically just Ashraful. Now we have Tamim, Ash, Junaid, Rakib, Sakib, and even Mushfiq has the potential. This is only the beginning of many wins. I can guarantee you that...

I think it was a clinical effort...The last time we were so efficient was when we beat India in the World Cup....I think Mushy shud be a permanent top order...He is Mr. Cool and today played a very vital role just like he did against India in the World Cup on debut...

Whats most impressive ?
At least 6 players contributed significantly in this win, If you ask me their level of significance, I will set them in the following order:
1. Mashrafee
2. Zunaid
3. Razzak
4. Ashraful
5. Sakib
6. Naeem

Yeap!
Thats the good thing about our current team. We no longer rely heavily on one person or two. We have so many contributors now. Each of them contributes one way or another. If this trend goes on for few series, then we will see many wins in the future, inshallash. No teams will be able to stop us from winning

What impressed me most?
1) After getting mauled in the initial overs still didn't lose hope. 47/0 in 8 overs. That is impressive. This can be attributed to self belief of the team. The match wasn't 8 overs a side. The team is maturing.
2) After NZ posting 201, I thought they got the psychological edge. Not getting bogged down on the drop in the last over.
3) Sticking to the game plan. 240 lol. The average in this field is 235+ but less than 240. remember before the game Ash said the bowlers could defend 240.
4) Mushi's promotion and Siddon's faith on him. 1st down has been our problem. Even when we had a decent opening stand the second partnership didn't last for long. that 67 run stand was very essential for the win and confidence on the captain to play his strokes.
5) Team effort on this win. Even Rasel's two catches were crucial. Had Farhad was there .... I am not going there (Flash back Pakistan game where we posted 280+).
