ICL is a T20 tournament, Its kind of silly to make a case for ODI or TEST comparing T20 performance.
Just because 'Beyadob" Dhiman didn't do any good in ICL or yet to impress some in the national team doesn't mean it should be the end of his young promising career. Its still too early to discount him. Like Riyad did against all odds, like Dollar did (atleast one game) against all neagtive image, we shouldn't discount these young talenet based on 1 year old performance.
Ofcourse like any non-national players, Dhamin and Co. of ICL all need to perfrom in local leagues as well as team-a and make a strong case to include him/them.
Now our national team (over all) is playing very good, so any new player need to wait further for new opportunity, and it includes all ICL as well as non ICL players.
But there is no point to discriminate these ICL players based on their past mistake. BCB pardoned them and they are given a new life. I think it's time for the fans to forgive and move forward.
If SN, Aftab, Dhmain, who ever brings value to our national team, should be considered same way as Dollar, Nazmul, Imrul, Robin, etc. Sometimes bad individual performace will bring opportunity to the reserve, sometimes injury or team's specific need will bring opportunity to them.
I will wait and see how these ICL players perform in local leage before I make my mind about who should be and who shouldn't be consdiered as a standby to national team.

only their performance should bring them back to National team, nothing else. they should be tried out in A team , if performance is satisfactory, then can be considered.

That's the way to get into the national side. Is anyone being picked basing on their ICL performance? You can only evaluate ICL performances amongst themselves.
Then why this question of over rating is coming in?

Because some people were suggesting in other threads that some of the ICL players shoudl be brought back immediately after the cooling period ends.

Can you believe that Murad bhai? What more can I say? This is beyond childish, why do I always mouth off at BCB and the politicians and the selectors alone and blame them for everything!

I totally agree with Wise bhai on the BD ICL players' overratedness!
And also agree with Fazal mama on the T20 and ODI/Test incomparability!
This T20 thing still gets on my nerve!

ICL or No ICL. Past experience should not count when it comes to team selection. Only way in is to perform in domestic level.

why would they put red arrows?? he showed that Kapali is the best player from DW.. he has the highest average and the second lowest economy rate (very important in T20).. wiseshah also said that "except kapali, i think rest are below average." so really, i dont think they will put red arrows cause of that..
and yes its a good thrad.. good research.. i think Alok and Aftab (maybe SN) will perform good enough to get in the team cause there are some players in the current team who are not performiing very well and should be replaced..

some of the ICLers are really talented but they need to re-prove themselves, especially in the longer format and they need to step it up a level or two above where they were before they went to the ICL.
