Wow Abu Haider seems to have been dropped. So 7 more ODIs? We will prolly win 5-2 or 6-1.

But this is at home, so coach, if you're reading this, we'll win 7-0 this time right?

Why is the West Indies U-19 "C" team touring Bangladesh?
Or are you guys being facetious?

In any case, I think we should reverse the batting order. Also, drop all spinners; play only the pacers.

There will be no excuses from me IF the selectors stop messing around and pick the BEST team!!.. .
But we all know what we'll see from the Tigers right? SPIN, SPIN, SPIN!!..OH AND MORE SPIN!! .
Like i said your lot could win this series 7-0!!..you'll still be found wanting at the top level UNLESS you find some pacers.
Out of the side that played in the home series i expect to see...
Solozano
Chanderpaul
Hetmyer
Allen
Pooran
Moti-Kanhai
Lewis
Jones
Jordan
Joseph
Mcsween
To keep their places!!..the rest i don't know, i expect some serious strengthening in the batting department and maybe a few different options in the bowling unit.

Windies have always had decent pacers, but they've been wanting at top level. Truth is we play mostly at home and spin is sufficient to beat sides like WI/NZ 9-2 in recent times. Of course Mashrafe, Nazmul, and Rubel are serviceable ODI pacers.
Even in Tests our batting is strong enough to get draws on our wickets against teams like WI, NZ, SL, IND.

Really? Gabriel made his debut in England and IMPRESSED!!..then played against Zimbabwe and impressed again. Holder has just broken into the ODI side and gave Australia and Pakistan problems in the two series he's played!!. Now we have Sheldon Cotterrell coming through who looks a very decent prospect indeed. And not to mention Roach who is world class!!..so needless to say i disagree.

You honestly think that? you scored 557 against us in the first test HERE and still lost!!..teams who have good spinners will always be in with a chance on your turf imo.

I said your pacers are decent. Your team is nothing but a glorfied minnow though. Ergo, merely having "decent" pacers does not exclude a Test team from "wanting" at the top level. Your team wants just as bad as us. You'd be able to see that if you put the joint down and let the reefer smoke clear.
You think you can beat us after 557 now? Bring that s**t and try it.
I'll bet you all the internet cred on the world wide web that f rom 2012-2020 Bangladesh will have a better home Test and ODI record than WI against ALL opposition. Guarantee that like a decree from the Lion of Judah yo.
That is, our spin based attack will do better in Bangladesh than your like fyah attack will in the Carribbean. I triple dare you to come back in 2020 when that prophecy gets fulfilled. I'll be right here.

LOL BEHAVE!!! ..we're unbeaten in seven tests and have won SIX in a row including a comfortable 2-0 victory on your own turf!!...plus we're one of only TWO sides (the other SA) to not have been whitewashed in a test series since 2009..and suddenly Bangledash DRAW a test series and beat an inconsistant NZ side in conditions they often struggle in and you're gonna be "better" then us in the next six years?
Come on tiger friend lets GET REAL here!!

By "real" do you mean bullshit-that-is-contrary-to-fact-but-reinforces-our-concept-of-elitism?
http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/eng...ults;type=team
Your boys with their pace like fyah have a home W/L ratio 0.05 better than ours. If we're "wanting" at the "top" level, then so are you. If you guys are a top side, then so are we. If we're minnows, so are you.
Even with your pace attack, you guys were found wanting in OUR conditions against OUR spinners. Until and unless you develop quality spinners that will NEVER change.

Good point. In past decades when ECB and ACB were in their heyday, fielding sides required premier fast bowlers to win, and spin was considered only an afterthought. Like it or not now that BCCI has become the pimp of world cricket, they pretty much call all the shots and name the rules of the game. As a result spin is quickly becoming the in thing. We just saw what they did to the Aussies in the recently concluded ODI series despite lacking a decent pace bowler. (Aussies fielded some very good pace bowlers - good enough to ravage West Indies front and back before completing the 5-0 whitewash earlier in the year). Winning without world class fast bowlers was practically unthinkable in the past decades. Today on the contrary BCCI at times forces other countries to alter their pitches to make them less conducive to pace, and the countries have no option but to comply. So drawing series' and maybe even winning against such teams is no longer a stretch for us.

Coach Richard did say that WI could be tougher on our soil compared to Guyuna due to the conditions. Interesting he said that but he is the coach and knows what he's talking about. Also now they know us much better and will come out hard against us. We'll have to play really well if we want to beat them.
Btw, great to see our U19 playing so many matches. Haven't seen our U19 team play so much since Tamim and Shakibs days of the U19 team

Williamson? Boult? also those conditions in Sa and England are similar to their home conditions so it's no surprise they done well.
The fact is when they came to the caribbean last year we beat them 4-1 in ODI's, 2-0 in t20s and 2-0 in tests!! so........
