Default Sign of good team

You can never judge a book by its cover, but when the cover is so richly decorated it is difficult not to. What I mean is that a good team is one in which everyone contributes. I don't mean by this everyone gets a 20 or 30. I mean that someone will always get a 100 or 5 wicket haul. Someone will always be at the party if the others are late arriving! This is a trait that the most good teams have acquired. Aussies have had it for goodness knows how long and they haven't lost it yet. SA have it to a lesser extent with Pollock and Boucher. Not many teams have it, a few are one out all out and some just lack the required team spirit. For this you need to have players who delight in each other's successes. In-fighting and doubt over your place does not help this.

In accordance with this "good team" highlight, how would you judge our current Bangladesh team? Will Bashar click like before? Will the middle order batting collapse be prevented? Will the pacers bowl all their hearts with more accurate line and length? Will Rafique go for 5 wickets haul again? Do we have any hope in Zimbabwe tour? I still don't find any! Please help!!

Dav Whatmore's words since he started coaching Bangladesh has been individual improvement, we haven't heard Whatmore repeating these words that he has been repeating so many times, have we?

When the Bangladesh team hasn't scored any 250 plus totals besides Zimbabwe, and has no ODI century in the decade of playing ODI cricket since 1986, so I must say that Bangladesh is not a good ODI team.

But compared to that - look at the test averages of Bangladesh's invidual performers. Yes, only Habibul Bashar has 2 test centuries, others are debutant centurions in Test cricket namely, Aminul Islam and Ashraful, and of course the Test specialist 'tag' batsman way before Bangladesh started playing test cricket - Javed Omar, there are no other test centurians, and 5 wicket hauls are also not regular, only Mohammad Rafique has 5-wicket hauls at the time when he is very experienced at the International level, and others Monjurul Islam and Naimur Rahman's 6 wicket hauls don't count like Aminul Islam and Ashraful's case since it was their debut matches. And in debut matches, almost all Bangladeshi players play well - better than they play their entire life. So I must say that Bangladesh can be a good Test team in the future.

But all that has to be a binary coded system - 1 or 0, meaning a good tour will have to be measured by the number of wins and losses.
