Default Did these guys really thrash us?

Straight from a tremendously successful World Cup campaign that saw them through experiences ranging from parliament parties to starring in their very own films, the Irish team is having a terrible time against County sides in the Friends providence trophy. Too much booze perhaps? Here are the games theyve played in up until now:

Lost by 58 runs to Kent
Lost by 128 runs to Somerset
Lost by 8 wickets to Hampshire
Lost by 185 runs to Gloucestershire
Lost by 7 wickets to Essex

Compared to them, Scotland is having a great time out there. Theyve played three games, lost all three, but with the exception of the first (which they lost by 42 runs) theyve been spot on. The other two games went down to the wire. They ended up losing off the very last ball in both of those matches!

I guess the Irish lifted for the big occasion and have now dropped back down to their usual level?

Little hiccups ..natural...good thing is they are playing in counties...IRE SCOTS and other associated countries will be better in times for this participation...ICC is just trying to balance the 'balance' the cricket 'basket'.

Guys...Get this. Scotland defeated Lancashire today, a team that has Brad Hodge, Sajid Mahmood, Muttiah Muralitharan and James Anderson

thats one news.... then again Hodge, Sajid & Muralitharan did their part (only these 3 took the Scotland wickets).... maybe Lancashire can now think abt signing Ashraful or Mashrafee....
