Oh Boy!!! Saturday, Sunday or (now) Monday?
How can I explain this to my boss and other colleagues?? Does life have to be that much complicated?
Any way, Eid-Mu- Barak to all on Saturday, Sunday or Monday whichever day it is.

Eid Mubarak to all :)
"The moon's conjunction will occur on Friday, November 12, 2004, at 14:28 Universal Time, i.e., 9:28 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and 6:28 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. This moon will be 10 hours old at sunset on the West Coast of the U.S. on November 12 and will set almost with sunset. On November 13, it will be easily seen in North America.
All astronomical data indicates that it will be impossible for the crescent to be sighted anywhere in North America on the evening of Friday, November 12. Therefore, Eid-al-Fitr in North America will be on Sunday, November 14, 2004, Insha'Allah."

Yes, I read that news and I was about to give that information here. But as always, people are quicker than me. In any case, Eid Mubarak to all!!! I think the issue fo Eid being on Monday is for Asia only.

i describe eid best with this hindi song "chhor ayee hum o golia". (rough transilation: i've left that alley behind".
in first few years i got tired of "virtual" eid or simulation of eid and it felt like a joke to me. eid is something i left behind in bangladesh and there is no eid in usa. i don't even take a day off from work now for eid. nevertheless, eid mubarak to those of you who still have it.
