what does Ashraful's and Aftab's success in ODI mean in Test cricket?

Even though One day cricket is the way to be world champs, Test cricket is the biggest prestige in the sport.

Will their success in the short game improve there game in tests? I think aftab is not gonna change he'll have a SR of 100 whenever he bats Test or One day, ashraful i think will have to do some soul searching about his test game to figure out the way he's gonna play. He try's to play long innings and he looks at the scorebard alot! when he sees 5 runs of of 18 that aggrivates him alot and then he throws his wicket away.

So will there one day success work for them in tests?
