henriques is supposed to debut, honestly surprised he's made it to the national team based on his domestic results, despite not being poor they're not dominating either. he's been around the NSW team for a decade even though he's only now just 26. he is a solid pacer in FC cricket but we do have many more better pacers...his batting is just solid. i guess they want him to be a back up, back-up the bowling and back-up the batting, personally unless an allrounder is outstanding in at least one of batting or bowling i prefer keeping allrounders out of the test team.

They gotta drop Cowan and move Watson up the order and get a solid middle order batsmen (eg Dave Hussey) into the test team.

If Tendulkar played for another country, he'd be doubted in India. Actually most of the ICFers already doubt him.

Jadeja to Lyon, 1 run, fired in, appeal for a leg-before, as Lyon gets too far across. It's a pretty good shout. It's plumb actually. Hitting middle of middle. Not given by Erasmus

Tendulkar might get a 100! If he does, this will prolong his Test career for another year at least.

Dhoni is a beast. He got 100 when no 10 batsman came in. He is still with him and he converted it to double 100

Let make the buzz. "India found a new god in Dhoni!" happy now?
Joke apart, Iindia fought back really good, and Dhoni just did more than he could. Splendid job indeed.

India are doing a great job, Kohli is so good.
and although I didn't watch the game but what an innings from Dhoni.
Players like Dhoni should attack, play it like an ODI.
Last time against Eng India couldn't use their own home conditions but this time they are doing it.
But Indian team & fans shouldn't feel too relieved about it because in last series against Eng Ind started with a 9 wicket win & then lost the next two & tied the last one.
So still long way to go as far as the series is concerned.

If India win this game, I know media will go crazy. I hope they hold on to their celebrations at least till the end of the series. Otherwise they might make a fool out of themselves.

Dhoni is just too good. Glad to see him back among the runs. Such an intelligent cricketer.

Expected to see Australia to struggle more than England. Their spinners are not even close to the quality that England has. Swann and Panesar bowled intelligently and aggressively which is why they they came out on top. Lyon is decent but nothing really special. Doherty isn't really that good either but they should play him next match.

doherty isn't that good but lyon surprisingly is quite decent, at least in comparison of where he is in his career to the other spinners going around today. by that i mean compare ajmal, swann etcs first 60 wickets and you see lyon is pretty much on target with them, they've obviously continued on and/or improved on that but lyon is still really young and really new to not just international cricket but even state cricket. he had only a handful of state matches under his belt before being selected for the national team.

Tendu can eat anyone on any given day for breakfast. Only fools and trolls will take glee on his downfall or faults or his misfarts.

Ya Lyon has definitely been a good find. Without him, they would have a lot more trouble. I wonder how good Agar is. I also really liked the leggie Zampa. I watched him bowl and he looks like a good prospect. If they have another good spinner, Australia will also be a tough team in subcontinental conditions.
