Australia Vs. England Twenty20 Match
The Twenty20 Match between Australia and England is now going on. After all those media trashing we received from English media....I am die-hard Australia Supporter now. I hope England will be trashed by Australia in this match,
So Far England Scored 109/5 in 12 Overs. England started good with Garret "Cheater" Jones Hitting the ball all around. Then Trescothick and Peterson kept the momentum going. But as soon as spin was introduced, England is started to suffer. They lost 3 wickets in 3 overs of spin with only 12 runs added.

no matter what genre of cricket it is, to bowl a the aussies out for under 100 is a big phychological blow.
England mean business.

I am not going to get carried away, this is only one game.
The Aussies are overated as a one day team, they are the best but not outstanding, they are certainly beatable in that form of cricket, in tests though its a different matter.

did you see it on TV?
who says 20/20 is rubbish, it was the most thrilling game of cricket I have seen for ages, it gets lots more people interested in the game.
20/20 is great stuff.

This is true. Even though Aussies already played a 20-20 match, they still have less experience in 20-20. Also i think the Aussies got to carried away like BD in the 2nd Zimbabwe test.
The scorecard is something you dont see from Australia much.
Australia innings (target: 180 runs from 20 overs)
R B
Gilchrist 15 11
Hayden 6 12
Symonds 0 5
Clarke 0 1
Hussey 1 6
Ponting 0 6
Martyn 4 6
Lee 15 29
Gillespie 24 18
Kasprowicz 3 16
McGrath 5 9
Total 799

The MOTM awards in England for limited overs games are a farce.
The public vote via. text message, email and interactive TV for who should be MOTM and the results are often biased.

Good to see the Aussies getting their bottoms walloped by England for once. As an England supporter I hope this continues.

In my opinion Lewis should have been MOM but Peteirson did get a 34, and the catches of Gilchrist, Hayden and Symonds. Stil I think Lewis deserved it more.

I think keepers standing up to the stumps to medium pacers is the way forward in one day cricket. It gives the batsman less freedom and affects the way they bat, certainly in terms of footwork, and if the medium pacer gets the ball in the right spot it can strangle the batsmen affectively.
I am sure if Jones hadn't stood up to Lewis yesterday the Aussies would of come down the wicket a few times to Lewis and got more runs.

Can England count this win towards The Ashes? The Aussies — are they Bangladesh in disguise? Is this the worst Twenty20 side ever to visit these shores?
