$**t, Fazal Mahmud? With our bowling? You've got to be kiddin! What help? How? Who's bright idea was this? Another of Ashgar's old friends like Mohsin Kamal & Ali Zia (tweedle dee & tweedle dumb)? God, where does this end? Heck, we should even decline help from the idiot Shoaib Akhtar, let alone this fuddy duddy.

walsh? i like ambross better. in fact, as long as he played, he used to be my favorite bowler.
but, being a good bowler doesn't necessarily means good coach. we should not bring ANYONE who does not have coaching certificate and previous coaching experience.

why anybody would want to take advice from unprofessional, and above all, senile pak ex-cricketers is beyond me. what is it with some of our people, and their constant need to suck up to either the indians or the pakistanis?

Fazal Mahmud was a great bowler. He
was the hero of Pakistan's historic win
against England in Lords.

i guess, i didn't emphasise my question really:
does he have any previous coaching experience?
if yes, how is his record (not bowling record but coaching record).
is he certified from a institute that recognize coaches?
i think (actually i'm sure) this is the criteria that would should consider regardless of anything else while choosing a coach.

indians and pakistanis are unprofessional. i don't care who they are: salim malik, mohinder amarnath, kamal hossain, javed miandad, blah, blah, blah. and we've had bad experiences with these guys. so, no pakistani coaches, period.
secondly, our subcontinental neighbours have a bad habit of looking down us. more reason to boycott them. i don't care what they say, their attitudes are still the same underneath the 'soft' exterior. time to see through that.
all in all, we're better off with QUALIFIED coaches from the other test playing countries.
