Shouldn't and wouldn't blame Ash "if" he fails in the SL tests.
Neither he was part of the original plan, nor he wanted to be.
A series of injuries forced him to be part of the series.
I really hope he succeeds for the sake of the team, but won't have much expectation.

He wanted 2 be part of SL series due to his past record against them.

If he can really translate this into work, I'll make him Tamim's teacher for a whole week. One teacher, one student, one black board and just one cane. And just one week.

Beware Lions, Abul Mastan Bond is coming to tear your bowlers apart. I can clearly see another record by him. Double
Can go either way; bat/bowl

1--Tamim
2--Anamul
3--Jahir
4--Marshal/Ash
5-Mushy
6--Riyad
7-Nasir
8--Gazi
9--sunny
10--Abul/SRK/jodu/ modu
11--Rubel
I personally would go with one pacer and play both Ash and Marshal. What's the point of playing 2 pacers when their impact will be trivial? But its test, so have to play 2 pacers at least.

If you play Marshal and Ash Both, then you will have to drop Zahirul, or play with one bowler short, will u do that? Risky for tests...

Yeah, we are playing test and that's why I have included a jodu modu type pace bowler in the XI. And will not pick Marshal or Ash at the same time..
It's a shame that we are going to play test match with one man short..

after all these days we still SRK as best option!!! I am not feeling too well about toporder especially #3, lower middle order batting and obvisouly bowling seems to be same crap without any significant improvement from our last series..after so many months of breaks we are again back to where we are!

Be careful, erekom covert pro-Ashraful comment diye laab nai. You might get branded as a blind Ash lover. If Ash does well, you will be accused of purposefully lowering your expectations of him to make his performance seem even better.

I knew that the selectors would justify Ash's selection by his past record against SL. I don't see that being a good enough reason to pick him. Last time he played SL, he was batting much better than now. An average of only a 13 in the NCL and then 30 in the BCL and yet he still got in? I understand the selectors would want experience and don't want yet another debutant like Shamsur but why not select Raqibul? He has a good amount of experience at the international level as well plus he averaged a 30 in the NCL and a 54 in the BCL. Also he batted at #3. So he could've easily competed for the #3 spot along with Jahurul and Anamul. Just a poor selection. Raqibul was far more consistent in his chances in the last 3-4 years than Ash has been at the international stage.
Anyways, best of luck to Ash and if he gets a chance, hope that he does well.
