Shakib is the best player we have, hands down. Tamim's batting is good but we can still compete without him but take shak out of the lineup and you'll notice how ordinary our spin attack is. The biggest plus to shakib is that he's a team player. He's developed a bit of swag too, which is alright as long as he doesn't become an overly arrogant piece of pooh.

Indeed.
I do feel that Jahirul could be one of our best too.

It is great to see so many good players competing for a place in the first X1, eventually, we will see a rotation of players when the final squad is picked, and it will be the best 15 performers.
Competition is great, because each player wants to be the best he can be, and they know that the weak ones will be out the squad, now, it all boils down to performance and nothing else. This is the best thing that can happen to BD cricket, as they have less than 4 months to play in the world cup and once again I am hoping that they progress to the super 8 and win matches.

Thread ta Terra banilo ke bhai?
Shakib no doubt .....
But yes, in cricket you never know who will be the most valuable on a day. And Shakib has contenders. Tamim would be very close to Shakib, if we didnt win Back to back with NZ. Openers played well and Tamim's absense was not yet felt. Then without Shuvo we wouldnt have won the 2nd match or would be tough.

In last four year we have not win anything without Shakib's contribution. In all big win he has contributed. No one else was such consistent and big factor for us.
