Is he really in form? He is going to replace Rajin..... but what has Aftab done with his bat recently?

if he really does replace rajin, it will be more of what he did NOT than what he did. he did not get 2 ducks (one golden, one silver) in a test match. and did not fail miserably in last few times he played.

Don't think it'll make much of a difference. However, Aftab is from Chittagong and that may inspire him and he can always replace Mushfiq as a bowler (well, anyone can do that). So, you get two in one.

HIstory will only repeat itself if he bowls against BD the next time. (hopefully he will get it against a real batting line-up instead)

With India as opponent, it is always a good idea having more bowling options. Aftab can bowl, and proved it with NZ (i believe a real team). but the fact that match is in Cht, will add more pressure on this young guy, and that will be enough for him to wilt.

And Bashar also expressed his discontent of not having enough bowlers in the team.

But at the end, these changes will not make that much of a difference. Just that the match will last long enough for the 4th day Tea.

Well he will do better than Saleh hopefully. Even if he makes a pair he will face more than 3 balls. He will also bowl. But Saleh did get a run out.

Rajin need a break, that's the only reason of his replacement.
Aftab, Alok, Rokon, no matter who it is at this moment ( in my opinion ).

Rajin will be back. Mark it down. I hope he uses this break to learn some techniques and shots. Mentally he is as gritty as anybody. This will only fire him up to do better.

No problem as long as he comes back well prepared and scores some run for us.

I am pretty sure "Rajin Fans" and "Not so Rajin Fans" will all celebrate in his next century ( or even his half century) with delight when (for "Rajin Fans") / if (for "Not so Rajin Fans") is selected.

If Hanan can be sacked, Alok can be sacked, Musfique can be sacked, Ashraful can be sacked, why its so hard to grasp for some people that Rajin is sacked, unlike Mushrafee or Nazmul who were given time off for injury and inexperience?
