The implications of another loss against Bangladesh are significant. A 4-0 defeat is effectively a clean sweep at the hands of a team that had, so far, been one of international cricket's punching bags - one that has now introduced a measure of consistency to its ability to surprise.

Take NOTHING less than 4-0.

And New Zealand, who were No. 2 in the ICC ODI rankings during the the tri-series in Sri Lanka in August, will slip down to No.7, while Bangladesh will move up to No.8, level with West Indies.

I did not know that - a team falling down to 5 places in the span of 2 months. Got to be the first.

My Playing 11
Imrul
Shariar
Junaed
Raquibul
Shakib
Mushfiq
Mahmudullah
Naeem
Shuvo
Shafiul
Rubel
First of all a hearty congrats to the wisden test player of the year "TAMIM IQBAL KHAN".
Rest Abdur Razzak and give Naeem a chance.Playing at vital 3rd & 4th positions.Junaed & Raquibul batting has been highly frustrating. I want these two batsmans to perform well.Except Shakib ,to a extent Imrul and Nafees none of the others performed for the team with their bats.Mushfiq & Mahmudullah also needs to perform well.Fielding has been excellent but still there are few places to improve. The throws to both striker and the non striker's has been little wider.Bowling is also good but there needs much more improvement to compete with teams like ENG,SA,IND,AUS,SL.I want both the fast bowlers to bowl their full 10 overs to check their consistency throughout the innings.
EXPECTATIONS:
1.Wants Junaed & Raquibul to perform well.
2.A century and a 50+ from any of the top 4 batsmans or atleast two 50+.
3.Either Rubel or Shafiul should take a 4 wicket haul with a good economy rate.
3.Batting & Bowling in the last PP needs to be improved.
4.Don't get bundled out if bat first.Rather I want to see scores like 275/4.
5.Score 270+ if bat first.Restrict NZ within 240 if bowl first.

There is a possibility that BD team may turn to old self by loosing to NZ by big margin. NZ will bring their best to play for pride in the last game. BD performance at 4th game is concern, specially when they let the newbie make a century (whos average score was 5). The new bowler also took 3 wkts and bd were all out in 48 overs after faltering the PP. The series win may have overtaken the weakness but long way to go for bd to be consistent

Crapindo match review has this:
The implications of another loss against Bangladesh are significant. in my opinion, let the non-performing players give one last chance, for those people who are asking for Axing a certain few players, if they fail in this ODI, which has absolutely no pressure at all for bangladesh(play freely) since series is Alhamdulillah, already won! they can be dropped after this series.
although i wouldn't mind seeing guys like Jahurul Islam being tried and tested for experience.
I have a feeling Shuvogoto Hom will debut against Zimbabwe.

I hope the Kiwis bounce back, I want Dan Vettori to score a century and hope williams plays another fine knock. Want to see NZ post a target of 300 and watch Bangladesh's approach, if they will go for the target or raise the white flag as usual.

Actually I think Jamie has a weakness abt Right Handed btsman & it's true that most of our reliable btsmen r lefties so may be Jamie is trying his best to establish a solid & consistent Right hander for BD which isn't a bad idea.
I think before he did the same for Ash.
