Best Bangladeshi Spinner?
Kapali and Ashraful are already in the team. All indications are that Bangladesh needs to include one more specialist spinner for the Pakistan tour. Who is the best Bangladeshi spinner (other than Kapali and Ashraful)?
My pick:
Rafique

I would say Rafique is Bangladesh's best spinner. He keeps it tight and often gets wickets by frustrating the batsmen. There is no need to drop him just because he's "old". We need some veteran players because let's face it, most of our team could play in the under 23's. I think Rafique should be on the team until he retires.

Didn't Naimur and Rafique both get reported for suspect bowling actions? Does that leave the door open for Enamul Hoq? Or have they first two sufficiently remodelled their actions to satisfy the ICC? If so, is their present bowling action as effective as the past performances based upon which we are judging there merit to be on the team?

Rafique, however, always had a liking to the inept Moni. Inept only in international matches.
As for durjoy, he was ok until they caught his action. He can still take a few wickets in local matches since the rules are not that strict .. but, not too sure he stands a chance against Kapali even.
Now, Kapali, Ash and Sanwar (who needs to work on his bowling) have the potential to become more useful in the next few years. By that time, Moni Junior will get into the team and Sanwar will retire.

The problem with Fahim is, he is good, but not better than Moni or Rafiq. So he never gets the chance. By the time Rafiq will retire, we will probably have a youngstar to replace him.
I dont see much future for Fahim. off course, my statement is soley based on his performence in dhaka league.

Kapali is my pick!
I believe in a couple of years Kapali will emerge as the best spinner Bangladesh has seen. He impressed a lot of Aussies including Warnie himself with his action and ability. The only suggestion seems to be that he should work for a sharper turn...I have a feeling thats not too far off...but when he manages that he will be among the wickets in a big way.
