Hey, listen.

This is a great site. I think so. I hope you do too. This is great because of fans like you. After all this site is by, for and of the fans.

Once again, the call goes out for our members to write articles and help with match reports.

If you see the article section, we used to get and publish tons of articles from our members. In addition to the dynamic and quality discussions you see in the forums, the articles we publish also add to the depth in quality of BC. For the last several years, I am sorry to say, outside participation has stopped to a trickle.

Let's turn this around. Go and talk to your muse and send us your articles! We publish articles both in বাংলা and in English. Send your article to editors@banglacricket.com or PM to me, or any other admin/staff/mod.

We also need tour reports we can publish with our tour coverage. If you go to the front page or the tour section, you will notice that we've been trying hard to maintain a comprehensive coverage. But - we are all volunteers here and have our day job. Even if you might think so, we cannot (though would like to) devote 24/7 to BC.

So do send me your tour reports. A few paragraphs that will be published with your byline. If you go to the front page, we are kind of behind.

Articles/interviews on pre world cup preperations could be great. Boyz/Girls in BD could take an initiative.

I am still around. Was busy lately with PhD submissions, grant writing and family emergencies. Will be back soon with fresh articles and interviews.

Will be staying in Bangladesh for the next 2 months. Expect at least 3-4 interviews of key persons ahead of the world cup.
