Unfortunately I don't think there are too many instances in BD cricket history that we've bowled so poorly and batted brilliantly after that...usually we just crumble under pressure when we have a large total to chase.

Hopefully we can bat decently.. Win is obviously out of the question (unless Tamim pulls a Sehwag), but if we can somehow get to 300, that is a positive. Then we spend the next few days figuring out what went wrong with our bowling...

Anyways congrats Bangladesh for restricting India within 400 and restricting Shewag from scoring 200. Congrats! I've no hard feelings this was not just our day.

Feeling bad for the guys in the stadium. They've put so much trouble just to be in the stadium. I hope and pray Tamim and Shakib would put some runs for them to cheer for something.

I hope we keep faith with the team, and don't panic. India was never a realistic proposition...Let's play the same XI against Ireland, and try to build from there.

Plus selectors, this has no bearing on Ashraful...don't you dare try to include him in the lineup.

Trying not to be a spoil sport, but it was a wrong decision to put India in. You never put a good team (specially India) in if you win the toss, unless it is a seaming wicket. Batting first, you can score above 300 but chasing 300 is ten times more difficult.
Anyhow, BD needs to be positive. Win or loose they have to try and learn from this match and implement the learning in this tournament itself. I would really hate if BD fans give up on their team easily. It is just the first match of a long tournament.
