Match Thread: India v England, World Cup 2011, Group B, February 27, Bangalore, 0900 GMT
the world cup is warming up. started with some boring one-sided games ... ...
but now the games are getting interesting. Ban vs Ire was a cliffhanger, Pak vs SL was also competitive.
India vs England should be a good game.
Can England put up a challenge against the mighty INDIAN batting line up ... ..

Ditto. Can't wait to see they thrash them. Title should be 'Nijer kan kete porer jatra bhongo kora' match.

Few of my friends are telling me Sehwag is going to sit-out but not-known for sure. Hoping for a good game unlike the one-sided match India seems to be getting quite often. :P

This is going to be a revelation. I am expecting Graeme Swan to flourish to the maximum with his career best ODI figure. England is going to shoot down Dhoni's Desicopter today. Sehwag won't make it to double digit either. Just keep the fingers crossed.

senman, it's not that we don't believe India is going to win, at least I dont, specially after seeing English play the Dutches. It's just some of us are still upset about the 1st game that's all, nothing personal.
India is most likely to win by a huge margin, but there is a high chance of Indian seamers screwing things up for Dhoni, making it tougher than it should be..
I think I picked India as the winner on our little $100 contest thingi.

Even though I don't really like India, I will cheering them on today to have a big victory against the Brits and damper their Net Run Rate even more. It increases our chances to advance in the QF if we had the same number of wins as them. Go India (just for today).

Even though i'd never support indian cricket team, but I think their win benefits us more than an English win. Our prime target is England and West Indies, so more games they lose, better it is for us.
So, this is one of those rare times you'd hear me saying, " I hope india wins" ..
