Wouldn't mind NZ winning the whole thing, but seeing as we all know that is never going to happen, I hope SL win.
News is Murali is struggling with his injury, so he'll be a last minute decision.

People are just assuming, Sri Lanka will just win this one-sided game.
Even its very much possible, bit don;t underestimate New Zealand Team. In their good days this New Zealand team can beat any team, they have some explosive batsman, pluas their bowling is pretty decent. they are dark horse team.

I don't think this SL team can be stopped by NZ unless they have a really really bad day. unlike SA SL doesn't usually have those in big matches.

SL doesn't have a nervous character tbh. May be Tharanga and Mendis, but other than that everyone is pretty solid, and knows what their job is.
But they look very boringgggg!! I'd never stay up late to watch these guys.

Sri Lankan middle order has not been tested in this tournament

On papers they look pretty solid. Sanga, Mahela, Sama, Mathews. It's the lower middle that I am worried about. NZ has a strong lower-middle. SS, Oram, Vettori, NM (who is growing strong slowly).

Definitely. When batsmen like McCullum, Taylor, Ryder, Oram are on fire any opponent can be destroyed, as they did with Pakistan scoring 100 runs in the last 5 overs!
SL are favourites but I wouldn't be much surprised if an upset come out... also: can NZ finally reach WC final at their 6th (!) semifinal?

Nope, history must be repeated. Only SL can stop India/Pak at the finals. NZ would just be an easy ride home for them.
No more one-sided Finals please! We had enough of that already.

Last 100 off 29 balls was a unbelievable and fluke. You don't normally see bowlers bowling on Taylor's pad very often. But New Zealand has some very good players and cricket is a funny game. A good five over spell from Vettori may change the game and also Taylor or Oram could take the game away from them in five overs. But Sri Lanka is a very good side with many match winning performers. Since we don't have anything at stake, i am hoping for a good, close, nail-biting match
