i have a thing for strategy games - like not the ones with a lot of action but the ones where you have to do a lot of thinking...so i'd say Age of Empires II, Sim City 3000, Pharaoh (less famous) and 2002 FIFA world cup (non-strategy )

I played commandos in BD. To me it was one of hte worst games i played. Dunno why. Possibly because it was confusing to me and it took me 5 days to figure out what was happening.

LOL.

yes, i can imagine your situation. commandos is a different type of game. this game has a lot to do with puzzle solving, patience and ability to figure out oppertunity.

..... a lot like cricket. you wait patiencely to understand the bowler, figure out his abilities, and punish the bad ball in the blink of an eye.

btw, if u are not good at having patience while playing, it would be pretty much useless trying it.

but to me, there can't possibly be a game better than commandos.

From here you can download the demo version of Championship Manager 03/04. It's the best football managing game in the world. I am sure, you will like it.
