They also should really remove Gambhir as a captain. The sooner they do that, the better it will be for the team. The guy is just not captaincy material and proves it time and again.
I also think so. He is too emotional. Things easily get on his nerves which result unnecessary pressure on himself and his players. This kind of attitude will surely make team mates uncomfortable. Captain should be relaxed and calm and should always encourage players to overcome their shortcomings rather than pointing out who's not performing, and whom to blame for loss.

Ya I agree. I really do think he's a good batsman but honestly think he's underachieved because of his immaturity. Again, here is an example of immaturity. What's the point of calling out your teammates to the media? If you have problems with some of the shots your batsmen are playing then tell them something. Don't announce it to the public.
Yes it's funny how Kallis is above all blame. His performance this season has been way below the mark but no one in KKR is pointing it out because of his reputation. That being said it was definitely the middle order which cost KKR the last game. After Tiwary and Bisla got out the required RR was still around 6.5 and that should have been chased easily by Shakib, Pathan and co. but instead they made a mess of it by playing unnecessary strokes.

I agree, astute observation. Unfortunately for KKR Gambhir and his cronies don't see it that way

KKR have had tried four different 1-2-3′s in their first six matches, and are evidently clueless as to what their best team is. The latest iteration of Kolkata’s top order is their most illogical yet – Jacques Kallis is a liability if not played as an opener, and realising he would stride out at no. 4 against Punjab was a true facepalm moment. They also have no idea who their best overseas players are, and world-class ODI all-rounders Shakib-Al-Hasan and Ryan ten Doeschate must be wondering what they need to do to get a run of games!
..
Bringing in Shakib for McCullum is more of a no-brainer – in awesome form through the BPL and Asia Cup, Shakib should have been an auto-starter for KKR.
Kolkata’s dubious strategy of using a Random Number Generator to choose their line-up is ill-advised at best, and they clearly need some help…so let’s help them out!
1. Gambhir (captain, curmudgeon) 2. ten Doeschate 3. Bisla (wk), 4. Manoj Tiwary 5. Shakib-Al-Hasan 6. The Bear Jew 7. Das 8. Lee 9. Bhatia 10. Narine 11. Balaji
I'm not whining about Shakib's inclusion! I enjoy reading AltCricket's tweets, so just thought to post this.
Luke Pomersbach, the Western Australia batsman who is part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad, has been detained by Delhi police following allegations that he assaulted a US national and her fiance at a hotel on Thursday night. The alleged incident took place after the match against Delhi Daredevils.
"A US national, staying at Hotel Maurya, was molested by Luke Pomersbach, an Australian player of RCB, when they were partying in her room," the Delhi police said in a statement. "When her fiancé Sahil intervened he too was boxed by Luke. A case under Sections 354, 323, 454 and 511 IPC [Indian Penal Code] registered at the Chanakyapuri police station."
Vijay Mallya, the owner of Royal Challengers, said the franchise would co-operate fully with the authorities. "Royal Challengers Bangalore regrets the incident involving Luke Pomersbach. We will ensure full co-operation with the concerned authorities so that a fair investigation takes place and the issue is disposed off in accordance with law," Vijay Mallya said in Delhi. "Pending disposal of this matter Luke Pomersbach will not take the field for The Royal Challengers Bangalore."
The IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla said the league was "not responsible" for the alleged incident. "There was no official party hosted by the IPL. It's the behaviour of an individual, let the police handle it. We will wait for the report from the police and then react."
Both foreign nationals were reportedly injured and have been admitted to the Primus hospital. Pomersbach, who has not played a game for Royal Challengers this season, was reportedly taken to hospital for a medical test.
"My son went to a friends birthday party"
Friend's name was Rave ganguly-no wonder ganguly didn't want a post mortem, he wanted a rave party instead
"He is not that type"-rofl stereotypical response. Feel for the mother though probably buys the cock and bull story son gave or perhaps sharma's innocent
Rahul SHarma
"I am tired man
I guess raving is hard work and he would be tired
IPL in it's death throes? Going out with a bang? WIll it be a supernova that leads to a black hole that's going to suck in everything including Vijay Mallya or even Sidarth mallya's blackberry(sorry to RCB supporters had to have a go at S Mallya's tweets)?
