Same here Nadz, wanted to take Swann and make him the captain but took Mendis for the very first time and made him captain knowing of England's spin woes. And the exact opposite has happened, Swann bowled and batted brilliantly and Malinga who has been utterly disappointing in the tournament till now took 5 wickets out of no where.
