so pybus is still not in BD and the series is just about 2 weeks away....how are players supposed to prepare properly for a series if the coach isn't around? the coach should play a major part in the preparation for a series. he can't just turn up on the day and say i want you to play like this, he's got to prepare them properly and the only way of doing that is by being with them.

sorry state of our cricket...2012 seems to be ending dark for our cricket...no direction no planning no substantial improvement...politics, infrastructure problems, governance problems, coaching problems, committments..etc etc...wherever you look it's only issues...am I allowed to dream seeing end of the tunnel...atleast the situation does not let me think like that...and i wonder when Eid is next week how much the players will give their 200% effort to even do a decent show...

The timer under BanglaCricket section says that the ODIs are coming first but here it says the test is coming first. CricInfo says test coming first too. Needs some fixing please.

Roach looks forward to Bangladesh tour
Afp, Bridgetown

West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach hopes the feel-good factor of being World Twenty20 champions will rub off on him on the tour of Bangladesh after he was overlooked for the recent triumph in Sri Lanka.

"The players are very confident following that success," Roach said.

"It's good to be around them right now. It's been very inspirational and they are talking stuff that is very useful to me. . . . . http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=255423

We don't need no prep-a-ration, we don't need no thought control! Just unleash Nazza!, Rocky and Imzie on them for a guaranteed BanglaWash and Dryclean. Add ShuVs and MJR to complete the humiliation. We'll be doing that dance this time!

WI players are preparing hard for BD series and our players are still busy eating Gorur mangsho . That fact is enough to predict the outcome of the coming series

That would be just another excuse, even if they were eating hatir mangsho or biraler mangsho instead of gorur mangsho they would still lose the series. The problem is they lack brain..

Akram hinted that there is a good chance to see a few new faces like left-handed batsman Mominul Haque in the Test squad.
“There are few names like Mominul, Sohag Gazi and Anamul Haque in our minds and left-arm spinner Enamul Haque is also in there but we are yet to decide about anything. Few changes from the last squad are not unlikely,” said Akram.
The chief selector also hoped that pace bowler Rubel Hossain, who had a successful operation on his right shoulder last May in South Africa, will be available forselection as the right-arm paceman looked fit during the first round match of the NationalCricket League. http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=255688

Do you think it is possible to make up an entire team of Haques and Hossains?

Just wanna ask about Tamim's opening partner. I understand Nazim is a poor select, but why Kayes ? Is he not a ODI player ? Also, how poor is Zunaid Sidd...always thought he was in the test team ? Is he such a flop that he's totally out of the picture ?

As Ian P mentioned somewhere, it's not who they select, but how they do it that makes our selectors look like morons. And the DS article suggests they are about to screw it all up once again.
