Bangla Fans just dodged a bullet
Hey guys, haven't been on here in awhile but you'll probably be seeing me often when the WI Vs Bang series draws closer. As some of you already know I am a WI fan but you guys have just dodged a bullet today with news that our fast bowler Kemar Roach is injured and will be replaced by the inferior Fidel Edwards.

Take it easy now guys, you might actually have a chance of beating us. :P

Our wickets generally don't depend on quality of bowling, rather on the mood of our batsmen.......they are generally generous ..

Don't worry, I'm sure Fiedel will expose our batsmen as if they were never wearing clothes to begin with.

After the match the excuse would be that the team did not have enough time to analyze Fidel Edwards hence our batsmen were unprepared for him.

doesnt matter... we will make fidel look like steyn and pattinson put together... he could very well get two five for and one ten for.

We would have preferred Roach...he was whipped like a little boy last time he was in BD...Fidel however could pose some problems!

No worries, we are always 'preparing' for the opposition's main bowlers but end up being blown by the 3rd or 4th best bowler in the team.

Other than the worldcup match, i dont think Roach was ever effective against Bangladesh. Its Rampaul and Edwards who can damage Bangladesh more.

Kemar Roach is the better bowler but v Bangladesh it really doesn't matter; as long as you stay patient the batsmen will live up to their reputation. Don't forget about Tino '95 MPH' Best as well. Just by watching his run-up our batsmen will make a mess in their pants.

Bangla wash awaits for the West Indians in ODI. We smoked KR in your back yards last time. This time the others will be treated the same away.

As fans, I hope, we have learned how to curtail the emotion that we inherently possess. Realistically, in spin-friendly pitches and with no dropped catches Bangladesh has a chance (I assume that Gayle and Samuels will be using this series to bolster their records and hitting the balls as if they are playing T20). One other factor to consider is the BD side is not all Shakib-centric anymore and has Mushy and Nasir to back him up. Tamim’s occasional batting blitzkrieg, once in every three matches, will be a plus. I do not expect BD to win either the test or ODI series, however, if they show some consistency and exhibit their willingness to fight and make some games close, that would be good enough. fficeffice" />

So, 1 bad World Cup (Consisting of 2 matches, T20Is!) and people are all down? This is still our best chance of winning a Test match. Home conditions, West Indies, fairly decent previous record at home. When was the last time we had so much on our sides?
...
Tough luck for Kemar Roach by the way. He said somewhere that he was eagerly waiting for this series. Better luck next time.

Bravo. Good comeback.
Living in Bangladesh we are very good at squashing roaches under our sandals. It's the Fidels and infidels who cause us problems.

Exactly! Some posts here have been very demoralizing. And, exaggerated too.

I think the real bullets(s) are Gayle, Bravo, Chanderpaul, Narine, Samuels & Rampaul. People might not believe me but Rampaul might cause some headaches for our batsmen.
