Play two specialist spinners
To our team management:
Enough is enough. We have been experiencing the pessimistic approach by team management/selectors/BCB for the last decade or so - we lose the match even before the match starts - what a shame!
We should play to our strengths by selecting two specialist spinners to strangling the Indies batters. As we are not bowling Shakib much due to his previous injury (and lack of form?), and knowing how effective Gazi was (by taking nine wickets) in the first test; we should replaced worthless Shahadat with Sunny/Enam Jr. It's no brainier to play two (ineffective and clueless) pacers just for the shake/norm to play two pacers in a test match!!
Also take out the weeds (Junaid and Nafees) and replaced them with Anamul and Mominul (I know our sissy selectors will never have the courage to pick both Anamul and Mominul at the same time)/Nazimuddin.
Act now. Don't rue after the match at the press conference like you are doing for the last twelve years!!!

How? They can select the squad just before the match starts, no?

@ Kalpurush I think they have already decided. If not, please include Elias+Gazi (The EG Attack Combo)

Our pacers are useless. If we play without pacer or one pacer or two even more than two, the result will be same. It is the brainless job taking more than one pacers in the XI.

Well I totally agree! having a proper effective bowling attack will get the opposition out much more quickly compared to the method we going about now. At the moment we have far too many batsman in our line-up which instantly shows how negative our selection panel is. This is my XI for 2nd test:
01.Tamim
02.Anamul
03.Nasir
04.Naeem
05.Shakib
06.Rahim
07.Mahmudullah
08.Gazi
09.Sunny
10.Abul
11.Rubel

here is the thing... I hope Mashrafe is back very soon. We are all worried about the fact that Mashrafe is not fit to play test and will get injured again due to extended overs. But guys, how many overs does our pacers bowl anyways in a test match? yea true on the last match first innings, our pacers bowled a lot but that doesnt happen very often at home. If Mashrafe can bowl 15 overs in a day, it should be more than enough. We just need a seamer to start the bowling and for a new ball after 80 overs. No need to take a second seamer here. Mashrafe can bowl tight enough on his overs and create early chances will also contributing well with the bat. And I would rather have a bowler with the figure, ( 10 overs- 25 runs- 0 wicket) rather than (17 overs 88 runs 1 wicket). We have enough allrounders like Riyad, Naeem, Nasir to bowl some extra overs if needed. With Sunny in, thats not even needed
Basically, i can look like this,
Tamim
Anamul/ Nazim/ Mominul
Shakib
Nasir
Mushy
Naeem
Riyad
Mashrafe
Gazi/ Enam
Sunny/ Enam
Rubel/Nazmul/Shafi/ any waste of space "pacer"
7 Solid batsmen followed by 3 bowlers (Mash, Gazi, Sunny) that can put together a total of 50 runs with slogging or taking it slow. Mash and Gazi definitely has the capability to score a quick 50 together while Sunny can hold on sometimes.

Akram Khan should be fired. All blame is on him for not selecting Enam.

^ Murad, we should then play the proper pacers. Where is Nazmul?
Also NCL has a new rule now...pacers can only bowl max of 15 overs per day. That might be why we are so little of Alamin and Taskin bowling.

Bhai Nazmul is not a Test bowler. He is a good OD bowler no doubt about that. I want to see him play all the ODIs but don't see a place for him in Tests. Its better if we let someone new play in his place.

Emotional statement!
I am not against pacers/pace bowling Murad. Infact, we need at least three/four international standard pacers if we want to dominate in test cricket.
But, when Sharapova gives away 5+ runs per over and can't even take more than one wicket, shouldn't you play the spinner/s who are doing an excellent job by any standards?
Gazi took a total of nine wickets in the first test and if Enamul/Sunny was there, WI could be all out in the first innings not scoring more than 400 runs or so.

The last time I checked his speed, he has hit 162.3 kph. Crapinfo published an article about it. Did you fail to read it?

Obviously BCB wont deviate from its policy to play 2 pacers. Being unorthodox is not in their DNA. Even if New Zealand do it or Sri Lanka do it, you can be rest assured we wont. Even if we dont have pacers, BCB will find someone out of somewhere and play him just to say we have 2 pacers. On the other hand our captain will not hesitate opening with a spinner. In the past we have seen Shakib bowl spinners for 35-40 overs in 50 over matches. Sometimes he would hesitate using a pace bowler. So you see the conflict in thinking between selectors and team.
Instead of our selectors were a little bit more positive minded they would drop a batsman and add a spinner. I mean whats the point in keeping both Nazimuddin and Shahriar Nafees knowing both wont add much. If we have to play them play one of them. Give the other slot to a specialist spinner, knowing Shakib is not in the best touch, and knowing Razzak and Enamul are on fire in FC cricket. And knowing Sunny was excellent against the same opposition last year. Or if they ever even bolder they would have dropped a pacer and went ahead with three spinners. But i bet Akram Khan will now say "Hey we picked Abul and he scored a century. Trust our judgement."
Selectors are doing a decent job. Unlike previous selectors they are shielding youngsters, making them work for a place in the side. Thats good. Gazi, Naeem were also good selections. But sometimes we need them to be a bit more adventurous and positive minded.

Playing two pacers is ok, but still after that we could have two specialist spinners. 7 specialist batsman is ok. A team doesn't only need to bat, also need to take wickets...
