European Match-fixing probe: 380 suspect games
Quote:
European police are investigating claims of match-fixing in relation to 380 games and 425 players, officials and other individuals
Europol has revealed that 380 football matches across the globe are under suspicion of match-fixing, following a lengthy investigation into what it considers a criminal network within the sport.
A total of 425 players, officials and other individuals are suspected of being involved in an organised crime syndicate based in Asia, which is thought to have been organising the operation to rig the results of matches.
Rob Wainwright, director of Europol, says the allegations included two Champions League fixtures, one of which was played in England in the last two or three years, though they did not name the matches in question.

Not a surprise. With the amount of money in the game, this was bound to happen.
I just don't want any top-tier Spanish clubs to be involved.

Not suprised. A rumour is going around that a Champions League 'tie' was match fixed. People thinking that it might be Barca.

Haha obviously. Because they're very much unbeatable. And everyone wants an end to their era other than Barca and Messi fans.
But the report says a UCL match in England. So, let's see!

Well I'm just glad Cricket isn't the only one with such issues with match/spot fixing, happens in all sports.
