Bangladesh women to tour India

Teams: Bangladesh | India
Bangladesh women will face India for the first time, when they tour the country for three Twenty20s and as many ODIs, starting in Vadodara on Tuesday.
India have omitted senior batsman Mithali Raj and experienced fast bowler Jhulan Goswami, among others, from the 15-member squad for the series. Batsman Harmanpreet Kaur will take over as captain from Raj, who led India during their first-round exit in the recently-concluded Women's World Cup.
Bangladesh weren't a part of that tournament. Having started playing international cricket in 2011, they last played the Twenty20 Asia Cup in Guangzhou, reaching the semi-finals of the tournament. Salma Khatun will lead the 15-member side on the ten-day tour, which will end with the final ODI in Ahmedabad on April 12.

I strongly recommend BC to give a separate Women's Cricket section. They deserve it.

Match kintu ajkey ratrey ...NYC Eastern Standard Time....Bhuley jaben naa kintu dadas and didis.
This is the most significant full ODI + T-20I tour for BD Women's team.
3 full ODIs since BD women's earned it's One Day International status.
3 full T-20 Internationals.
And agianst Indian Women's team, one of the most powerful women's cricket team, let it be that India would play without Mithali Raj, their legendary batsman/captain, it will still be like playing against the mountains for BD team. We need full support for our Tigresses! Go Bangladesh!

Thank you dear Roni bhai!! Right on!
A nation can only be good at cricket if our mothers start to play kick-butt cricket first.
Where is Kathbirali? Antora, Zinat, Oronnya apu, Fwallah apu, Mona, Taklima-Naj apu and all the other apus?

Once Salma Khatun's wicket's gone, there is no more hope! We will be finished, maybe I am wrong, maybe Kathbirali could give us some recent updates on skills and performances of other players.
Bowlingwise it is all about Panna Ghosh, where is our Cobra - Khadijatul Kubra? Not in this team...we will miss her big time.

I have only watched one Womens match featuring Bangladesh...
based on that
I think our spin bowling resource is amazing.....
but our batting is extremely extremely bad....

Top spinner, Khadija is out of the series due to exams I think. She's the only bowler who could have reigned in India.
Bangladesh will get annhilated here. A men's tour would have been more competitive. India apparently don't play another home Test till Oct 2014...perfect opportunity to sneak in a short tour from our boys.

Indian Women 143/3. So BD women have to score 144 with a run rate of 7+. Not expecting them to win, but if they win then more power to them. Good luck.
