The upcoming meeting of ICC is a crucial one for Bangladesh as two important issues will be discussed that will concern Bangladesh Cricket. One of them is regarding the nation being the host of T20 World Cup 2014, which is still uncertain at the moment. The second issue is the report of ACSU that will be published in the meeting. The second one is a very important report for Bangladesh and it can lead to a number of consequences.
This is a good news. I do not think BD can afford to loose money by hosting this useless tournaments. Besides, there is now an overdose of T20 competiton anyway. Also, there will be no takers (neither India nor Sri Lanka and Pakistan is out of question). So, do it ICC if you can and just don't play pressure game with BD. We have other important things to do (such as, executing perfect hartals, closing down universities, grab river banks, build unsafe structures ...).

Not so doomed it seems, at least on the hosting frontier :
Beshi ulta-palta korle je ICC shundor moto ekta baash khaito, sheta bujhte parar jonno ICC ke dhonnobad.

Isn't there two stadiums in chittagong anyway? then there is bogra, naraingonj, khulna. This is all too confusing for me can some one explain to me why any of these stadiums cant be used instead?

Poor facilities
In BD, only Dhaka and Chittagong are properly urbanized and has almost every facilitiy you would want in a proper city. Areas fatullah, bogra, dont have any airport and probably no 4/5 star hotels. I dont think teams like Aus or NZ would like to stay in those areas. Only teams like SL, Pak, Kenya, Zim in the past had no real issues. However, I can recall that famous match in fatullah between BD and Australia
Only South Africa and Sri Lanka showed interest.........
Wait here comes India........
Already assured of hosting the 2016 World T20, India have also offered to be on stand-by for next year's event if venues in Bangladesh aren't ready. This was stated by Jagmohan Dalmiya, the interim president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), here on Thursday.
Bangladesh though are confident of getting things ready by December, an official of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) told HT over the phone from Dhaka. The official requested anonymity because he isn't authorised to speak to the media on this.
"Four venues — Cox's Bazar, Chittagong, Mirpur and Sylhet — are doubtful for next year's World T20. We have given a guarantee that we will be on stand-bye if the venues aren't complete by December," said Dalmiya.
India now you want to take food from our plate. Nice of you to show your true colour. Now I am convinced you dont want Bangladesh to do well. Chi Chi India.
