going to be veyr tough for WI in india. i hope chanderpaul has a good series, that guy doesn't get enough credit, they'll need gayle to score some runs and hopefully bravo can to.
WI need to be ready to score runs, india will probably put up some massive totals.

WI scored 466 against UP in the warm up match. Chanderpaul scored a century. He will be probably be the biggest thorn against India.

This guy Chanderpaul is legend. After he stood with Lara to make his 375 when wickets were falling, I knew he would be special. I was in Primary school when he did it.
I honestly think he deserves to be in the ODI team, but selectors are useless. His concentration is really amazing like a rock.

Definitely deserves to be in the ODI side. A rock around the likes of Gayle and Samuels. Would add so much more depth to the WI batting.

Us pulling Shiv out of the ODI set-up has lead to him having a purple patch in Test cricket!!..and long may that continue!!!..as we've seen with Ul-huq some of these veteran batters are really showing their class at the back end of their careers and it's good to see.
Anyway the game finished in a draw!!..pitch was very flat so forcing a result was always gonna be tough. Cotterrell got 3-63 in 13 overs which is encouraging!!..Permaul got 3-124 and best 2-77!!..and Sammy 1-56 ...
In the second innings both Gayle and Samuels got 50s after missing out in the first innings!!..so the while of the top order got 50s in this game which is good.
Roach and Shillingford were rested but should be back for the first test on wednesday!!..no doubt it's gonna be tough but the last time we toured India we gave them some problems!!..TWO 100 run first inning leads in three tests!!..one of which we went on to draw. And we had an inexperienced side back then.
