We should learn to bat from Netherlands.
Amazing batting from Netherlands. Only if our players can bat like that... Watch and learn boys.

I am more concerned about our boys playing sensible cricket when necessary. The pitch in Sylhet was flat, boundaries where 55 metres and some poor bowling.
Although I don't mind our boys possessing the power them dutch players posesses

Our batting and fielding have gone down the drain.
Bangladeshi players who are more experienced players are so unprofessional, lazy and egoistic that they dont want to learn anymore. As long as the money comes from playing a few games in BPL and with endorsements on the side they stop working on improving their skills and fitness which affects their form.

They are not in our group. We have to contend with Aus, Pak, Ind, and WI.

I followed the match from ball 1, thoroughly enjoyed it. After that even I am finding India - Pak match bit boring.

If the India-Pak match was played in Sylhet, it would have been a 200+ run fest.

Its not only about run feast, How amazingly the dutch team stunned the rivals to qualify for the next stage is something to be praised for.

Yes, indeed!
The first part of the Ireland Innings was normal, but then they changed gears. At the innings break, most people would bet on an Ireland win.
It was an extra-ordinary game without any doubt.

If they try to bat like them or like some fo the Pakistani bastman, we will be all out before 50. What they need to watch is how India batted today. very sensible, no real attempted slogging, but reached the goal.
What they needed against HQ was some sensible battting and batting for whole 20 overs.
Except for Anamul, Sakib and Rahim, there is nobody left that we can trust on while batting. Shabbir is still work in progress, and Tamim and nasir is struggling. Riyad, Farhad, Razzak, Rubel and Ali Noor is pretty useless with the bat.
Time to include Momin and Shamsu in the line up, some how we need to introduce new blood in the lineup.

Are we really in a position to laugh at others? Please get rid of this mentality. I mean I am so pissed why our media never criticize the players severly or mock them for losing to teams like AFG or HK? In Australia, ENgland, India the media would,ve ripped their teams apart.
As a nation we seem to have this happiness when others do bad, when, instead we should try to better ourselves with all we got. Also, dont forget the match between Ireland and Zimbawe, one of the best matches I have ever seen, do you really think our team would have come through in that pressure situation? Especially with a brain-dead captain at the helm?
Honestly I think both Ireland and especially Afghanistan has better fast bowlers. Also have a feeling Ireland wouldve won more test matches in 15 years than what we managed. And as for Afghanistan as long as they improve their batting, I believe they have what it takes, as after all they have the bowling line-up to take 20 wickets. DOnt lauugh at others misery or look down on them.

Thank God we're not playing WI in Sylhet... The amount of runs we scored against Pakistan in the Asia Cup would have been scored by WI in 20 overs or less.

Our team would look at the target and be like 'nope'.

That 'kick on the b**t' from HK will do us wonders. Now, act like a wounded Tiger.

I don't think we're as interested in learning from mistakes as we are in blaming others. We haven't been able to learn jack over the past decade from some of the genuine greats of the game we've played against, and now we're expected to observe and learn from the Dutch? Kon jogote boshobash korI?
