West Indies series prediction thread
So guys.
How do you think your team will do vs the West Indies
3 ODI's
1 T20
2 Tests
I think the Windies will sweep the limited overs as that is where they are strongest.
In tests I'm not sure. West Indies are very inconsistent and as NZ showed are there for the taking. Maybe Bangladesh could sneak a win/draw??

West Indies will win every single game with ease. It will be a Caribbean wash.

No point predicting results of Bangladesh or Pakistan as they are the most unpredictable sides.
Instead I'll post results I will be satisfied with and that I think are realistic.
ODIs 1-2
T20 0-1
Test 0-1, or 0-0 (ideal)

The only thing common in the past few series at home conditions was a collapse. What do you think in away conditions will be?

I expect bd to draw one test match and win at least one ODI.
But as far as the prediction is concerned, no solace for us

It will be an cleansweep loss of all the matches. 1 match we will do really well to be in a position to win it but then lose it from a good position as always....

Supporting Bangladesh is really beginning to take a toll on you guys
I'd expect Bangladesh to win 1 game. I mean the Windies really arent all that good.I mean they're very inconsistent.Hell we beat them in a t20 match in February.

When u lose against Hong Kong .... And Afghanistan and India A... U would have to be mental to expect a win against a team that has a lethal bowling attack and an explosive batting attack....

We pulled it off. Why cant you?
Yes I know confidence is rock bottom and you dont have Shakib but at the very least the team should go out with a positive attitude. That can often be the difference between winning and losing. You take some early wickets and then who knows what might happen...
And the West Indies are very inconsistent as I've said before. One day they can beat anybody and the next they're losing to NZ by an innings.

Checklist for a disastrous tour:
1. Player controversy before the series - check
2. Star player absence - check
3. Selection of players based on reputation rather than form - check
4. Poor squad composition ( 4 opening batsman) - check
5. Idiotic captain capable of losing matches from winning position - check
6. Low self confidence and lack of match practice - check

With or without Shakib, with or without non-performing Tamim, with or without stone-head captain the result depends on West Indian's performance. If they win, we lose. If they lose, we win.

Check, check and checkmate.
10 percent of the runs scored by WI will be behind the stumps
10 percent of the runs scored by WI will be through slip cordon
30 percent of the runs scored by WI will be through the V region
Most of which could have been prevented by better and normal field placetment..
A disaster is written all over this series. Test outcome could be most horrifying.

0.2 Roach to Shamsur, OUT, what have you done. Shamsur?! Two wickets off the first two balls of the day for Roach. Shamsur miscues a pull and offers a dolly to the keeper. And that was pitched outside off! That is a very soft dismissal. The batsman with his foot planted firmly on the ground was instinctive on the pull. Poor decision for the batsmen to make considering the ball was angled across him. Bangladesh are in a load of trouble now.
