Self serving move from the BCB. punishing shakib by taking away his big money on political beefs and letting him come back so we might squeak by Zimbabwe.

Egotistical move by BCB. They know that they are in big mess and they want to come out of it quickly. So they reduced Shakib's ban but made sure that he doesn't get to earn big. Jealousy and grudge at its best

Second, by the definition, Politics is influencing people. It could be against family members (family politics), villagers (village politics), party politics (Jashod, BAL, Bhashani NAP), simple politics to get an advantageous position, or get out of a jam.

The punishment handed down by Papon and his cronies was to neutralize and trying to "get out of jam" politics. Not Party politics as in BAL or Jashod or etc. Still no comprende?

On any type of disciplinary hearing, emotion has no room in factoring verdict. It always lead to wrong verdict. I am not making this up. Papon himself said that in the press release (we have a video). "Amra shobai emotion hoiye porsilam." Obviously we know it was a wrong verdict cause they are cutting back on the punishment.

or county cricket. We wont have any player in the top 10 in any category, specially all rounder.
Sponsors will slowly leave, making BCB run out of money in no time.

Yes, Shakib is just on player, but if it was not for some awful dumb captaincy and poor head coaching
with totally ineffective gameplans, we could have won a lot more matches.

Well said. I agree that no one should be above rules but they could have managed their best player better. There should have been more communication from the board before taking such a harsh decision.
They have created unnecessary controversy and lost creditability in Shakib saga.
