Al Amin is to be sent back home
http://www.prothom-alo.com/sports/ar...A6%95%E0%A7%87
As per this article, ICC's Anti Corruption and Security Unit had been monitoring him for suspicious activities and have reported him to team management. Ye gods, we don't need to have this over our head!

Al Amin to be sent back home from WC
BREACH OF DISCIPLINE
BCB to send Al-Amin back homeBreaking
Bangladesh Cricket Board will send pacer Al-Amin Hossain back home from Australia, where the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is now ongoing, for breaching discipline.
Al-Amin broke the team’s disciplinary rule by returning to hotel after 10:00pm on February 19, team manager Khaled Mahmud told our sports correspondent in Melbourne.
The authorities decided to send Shafiul Islam for the replacement against Al-Amin.
Al-Amin did not play a single match in the World Cup 201

Don't understand what is with these guys. Playing the first wc and then doing this? And that after getting back in the team getting reported for action. Stupid. His career is over.

They should send Khaled Mahmud back, too. Bad apple.

Perhaps the Prathom Alo report is pure speculation. Razab - care to edit the title?

Razab is a drama queen.
But it's serious if he is being sent back...good he didn't play a single match.

According to ESPN-CI
http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-cric...ry/836701.html
Al-Amin to be sent home for breaking team curfewMOHAMMAD ISAM Share on Facebook Share on Twitter 25 shares
Team manager Khaled Mahmud confirmed to ESPNcricinfo that the ACSU informed the Bangladesh team management of Al-Amin staying outside the team hotel after the 10pm deadline.
"Normally if a player has to stay outside after 10pm, he has to take the management's permission," Mahmud said. "We were not aware that Al-Amin left the hotel after that time, and were later informed by the ACSU of his transgression. He will be sent home as soon as possible."
Mahmud denied that Al-Amin's suspension had any links with corruption.
Al-Amin has played 11 ODIs for Bangladesh since early 2014, but none at this World Cup.

I'm sure it's something serious. I don't think they'd just send him home for one broken curfew... IDC. I wanted Shaf in the squad anyways. I thought he's already there with the squad as a reserve/standby?

The idiot!
The positive is that Shafiul has been playing in the NL, has played in the WC before and can bat a lot better than Al Amin. The bad news is that he has had no acclimatization to conditions at all.

Did PA have to use such a pot-head looking picture of the man?

Shafiul was my initial choice over Al-Amin, too. Shafi is a much much better fielder and a fighter. He bats better, too. Not much between them in bowling, either. All in all, maybe a great blessing in disguise. Wish Papon did send Shafi to the conditioning camp! Shala!
But, shame about Mash's death bowler option, tho. Perhaps, he has to shoulder the responsibility now?

They send him back home for just breaking his curfew? Seems way too harsh.
