I guess your thread did not get enough response initially because everyone was mostly concerned about the National Team performance in ODI Practice matches. Also, your Subject line may be a reason for not getting enough attention. A more indicative subject line such as "controversial selection policy for Bangladesh-A" might have attracted peoples attention easily. But at the end of the day---look, your thread is having a lot of responses.

I certainly appreciate your well thought high quality thread.
You even bought the issue in this forum even before the national media. Also you put a lot of thoughts in this thread. This shows your advanced thinking abilities.

No one cares about whether you are a street cricketer or something else. Number of posts does not bear any significance. I have seen some members posted around 1000 meaningless one-liner posts within 30 days--with the sole purpose of increasing number of posts and user ranking. Most members usually laugh at those silly one-line postings. Higher number of posts means neither higher status nor higher thinking ability.

I think you did the right thing. Keep posting such well thought threads and make your subject line distinctive, you will certainly become one of the well respected, well discussed member in this forum.

Nice topic r56hg
is another thread about the selection of "A" team.....i also mentioned that......It is fairly unfair mainly to Golam Rahman and Farhad Reza.

I strongly beleive that there is only one way we can improve the pathetic show of our national team..........MAKING OUR DOMESTIC COMPETITION COMPETITIVE. By ignoring the main performers.....our selectors maid it clear that NCL is nothing to them......

amar to ekhon mone hocche ICC jodi first class cricekt er strong regulation na rakhto tahole ki amader dese NCL ayojon kora hoto???

erokom bhabe domectic cricket jodi chole, tahole aro onek disastar amader jonno wait kortese.

Farhad Reza is an all-rounder.............
He is the 2nd highest scorer in 4 day matches and highest scorer in one-day matches in NCL.......he is also the highest wicket taker of the last Dhaka premiere league.........
So, he can easily be selected ahead of Mushfiqur Rahman Babu........how can selectors ignore him to slelect mushfiq babu.......i cant imagine.......
I really feel for Farhad Reza.

Interesting information!

BTW... I also do not think that the NCL or other Domestic league performances (specially when it is about BD domestic cric) should be graded too high in selection for Int'l matches.

Here we never said we should graded too high our Domestic league. My point is what is the criteria that our selectors follow. Becasue there are some players they do not have good record in Domestic league and they are selected for the national side and they continue their bed record in international cricket as well. Again some guys are doing really excellent in domestic league but they are not getting chance enen in A team or under 19. So my question is our selectors have any policy about the selection process?
