Damn it! What is this obsession with changing the team every match? This is another reason why we never win, the players are so afraid that one bad performance will get them axed that they can never play freely.
I would like the selectors to take an oath that says, 'Alright, barring injuries, we will field the same team in ODIs for at least the next 15 matches.'

A one-day international against the world champions is a rare opportunity and we shouldn't use this to rest good players for second best or even worse.
This is not generosity but imprudence.

Some great comments and most of the comments are very sensible. I liked the comment about Taposh and Nazmul being worse than our fitness trainer.
Anyway just wait till we get Shafaq Al Jabir ( 6 ft 4 left arm fast medium) and Shahadat charging in ( 6 ft 3) from both ends to complement Mashrafe and then british media will never ridicule our pace attack.
We will probably never be as formidable as Wasim-Waqar-Shoaib but Mashrafe-Shahadat-Shafaq will probably form the best pace attack than we ever had.

"If they don't cut the grass, I'm afraid we will have to make a change. I will have a look at the wicket in the morning and if the grass is still there then I will have to field an additional pacer."
"It will be unfortunate if left-arm spinner Manzarul, who bowled so well against England at Headingley is not playing. But we will have to take a decision given the wicket we have for the game," said Bashar adding that they will have to choose either Tapash Baisya or Khaled Mahmud.

I nominate this for the "joke of the year" award. Clearly the man has a sense of humor that many of us in here lack desperately.

He was test player . A great test player but in odi he is like "Javed Omar" on batting . Man don't play for yourself think about the team . Playing 144 balls and scoring only 81 runs . That would be joke of the year in odi history .
