Cricket South Africa postpones Global T20 league
http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/...bal-t20-league
Good news for BPL.
Does that mean teams have a chance to sign more players-who now wont be able to participate there?

Quote:
Though local broadcaster SuperSport is understood to have been close to putting pen to paper, the deal was going to be worth much less than CSA anticipated.
Last week, Moroe told reporters that CSA was bracing for a $25 million loss on the first edition of the tournament, which amounted to half of the organisation's cash reserves.

^^ Another league is going out of the business.

Moral of the story. Don't eff with Indian Cricket board, and expect not to have consequences. Lorgat fired. SA league postponed. India's tour to SA curtailed to a minimum, and SA loses boxing day and New year's test.
Back-stabbers beware, Revenge is a dish best tasted cold.

In the past I haven't said nice things about BCCI. And now my cat is sick. Is that anything to do with BCCI?
Yes BCCI is powerful, but not that powerful.... rest of the people's live goes on fine without BCCI you know....they may have good days and bad days.... but that doesn't mean BCCI have something to do with that.

Boys!
We might see AB/Hashim/Rabada/McCullum etc in BPL!
SA T20 being postponed is a big blessing for BPL!
Really excited and looking forward to it! InShAllah it’s the best edition out of all previous ones.

Wonder if this could banrupt the SACB?
Apparently Lorgat spent a ****load of money so far, before being axed.
Yeh and India playing with the SACB,no itinnery yet.
Hope the 4 day day/night test between S Africa and Zimbabwe is still on.
So what do domestic and international players do in that 6 weeks,a domestic run T20?
