Default Who Should Be Bangladesh's Next Head Coach?

Since news broke out, Haturi is gone.

Who are the candidates that are out of jobs at the moment?

Anil Kumble is my choice. He is very close by. He's as methodical as they come and is a disciplinarian; something that the BD team needs at the current moment with some players who have a hard time grappling with fame, and even some pressure playing at the highest level.

Very ideally someone among Andy Flower or Tom Moody. Question is, can they handle our internal politics within team and management?

I would make a gutsy move and ask someone like Anil Kumble is possible.

What likely would be are - Waqar Younis, Aaqib Javed

My vote is for Sandeep Patil or Zahir Abbas!

Or Mike Ditka.

Someone that is not that famous as a coach and has proven record to work with youngsters. Would Love to have someone like Rahul Dravid who has done tremendous job for India U-19 team but that is not going to happen.

I've always liked Richard McInnes when he was our U-19 coach and helped with HP group as well. Not sure how he's gonna be with the seniors but he would definitely be good for our youngsters.

Soon following flower closely with England, he's my opinion of him.

Pros:
Professional
Winning mentality
Excellent with established players
Great tactician

Cons:
He's not great when things go wrong
His style is hands off analytics
Did not develop youth

Conclusion: he'll get us wins, but won't develop our cricket, we need a coach, not a mentor, he's tactically excellent, so he'll be great for the trio, apart from that he won't be good for the rest, his limitations as a coach would be exposed if he coaches us, he's not an ideal coach for us

Ideally, the best choice will be Rahul Dravid. His dedication to develop young Indian cricketers is awe inspiring. It will be a mighty accomplishment by BCB if somehow they manage to sway him to take up the challenge of developing our team.

Jason Gillespie is also a good choice, especially if we are looking to get rid off Walsh as well.

Some place neutral and less crowed would suffice

I know that you are a lot bigger than I am.

^^ I can see Walsh becoming the interim coach, since Mushfiq seems to like him a lot
