Match Thread-2nd T20I=> Bangladesh v Afghanistan|JUN 5th 2018|Dehradun, India| 20:00 Local time, 10:30 AM Eastern Time
Welcome,
Bangladesh will hope to spoil Afghanistan's chance at securing a series victory against a test nation other than Zimbabwe.
Quote:
One thing is for sure: after Sunday, Afghanistan will be supremely confident of defending anything over 150.

Replace Mosadek with Soumya? Or Abul with Soumya?
Mehedi should play.
Drop Abul and OPU?
So many decisions to be made. But the most important one will be to bowl the spinners more than the pacers.
All the best to both of the teams.

another defeat is written all over it. Our players moral is down, captain is clueless, team management has no plan on how to tackle afg bowlers.

The selection is simple, you have to be a monumental idiot if you can't improve the team from the first team
Drop jayed, Abul and opu
Bring in Sarkar, Hider and Mehedi

changing some of these players wont be enough. the seniors, Tamim-Riyad-Shakib-Mushy-Rubel need to step up and do the job. If 4 of these 5 perform, we will easily win the game. Having said that, this is the squad i would like for those bonus runs
Tamim
Liton
Soumya
Mushy
Shakib
Riyad
Mosaddek
Ariful
Apu
Rubel
Rony
Sabbir hasnt performed anything significant of late to retain a spot. Bringing Soumya because we need more lefties to neutralize Rashid. Ariful must be brought in and given at least 6-7 games in a row. And Lets try Rony because he sort of deserves a game

He just scored the fighting 77 runs against India the match before last one. The only one to score anything worthy that match.

Tamim Iqbal
Liton Das
Sabbir Rahman
Mushfiqur Rahim
Shakib Al Hasan
Mahmudullah Riyad
Ariful Haque
Mehedi Hasan Miraz
Nazmul Islam Opu
Abu Haider Rony
Rubel Hossain
Send Sabbir back to no.3 where he has proven to be successful and Shakib down the order because he is useless with the bat in t20s these days. Have extra spinners because Afghans clearly struggle against spinners. Ariful needs to be given chances because Mosaddek's tuk tuk innings won't work in this format. And obviously, Abul Hasan isn't for the national team while this isn't the format for Abu Jayed.

I don't think SS would stand any better chance against Afghan spin (offie or leggie, doesn't matter). He is low in confidence as well, needs to start playing pace.
Ariful and Rony deserve their spots.
If Sabbir faces Rashid again, he at best can improve from a GD to a simple D. I said it b4 the series that he would struggle big time against Rashid. He has zero batting technique.
Above all, our seniors need to win this match. And someone needs to hit the ball hard during the death overs, don't care who.
It won't be easy for tigers.

Sabbir batted at no.3 in Nidahas trophy in the last two games. It was unnecessary for the team management to change that and send Shakib at no.3. The batting order is very unstable.

I am more interested in this match then the previous one. This match will prove if the BD players have any fire in their belly or Afghans have enough fire power to go for the kill.

Prediction a walloping of AFG in this game.
Will set up the 3rd one beautifully.
Not a bad stadium is Dehradun either. Love the crowd turnout.
