We will be celebrating golden jubilee of our independence soon, and still to this day, as an expert said recently, we do not have a single moha-shorok (highway) in the whole country. Look at our education system. Again, it is joratali and majority are in it for short-cut success aka getting a certificate. The objective is never to learn. And what is the result? As a recent report has shown, Indian expats alone send 10 billion USD from BD annually, who mainly work in garments industry and other technical sectors. Many Sri Lankans now also work in BD. India and China have successfully turned their population to human-power, and yet after 50 years of independence, our jora-tali education system cannot produce man-power for garments industry, which is not rocket science.

Look at our budget. More than 40% is spent for govt emplyees beton bhata. Another big chunk for military. What can you expect?

BD need a plan to reach certain level of respectability in the Kingston test, even if they lose it: Win the toss to field first (this WI batting line-up is not stable and BD taking 10 wickets in Antigua is the indication); pad up the batters to get hit by short balls and not play them; put the bat before your foot for full balls (playing responsibly); ask bowlers to give up extra pace for consistent outside off line and control.

What BD need is someone like Rajin Saleh who is willing to play a lot of balls, he may not have kicked on enough (didn’t get to triple figures even once) but he played a lot of balls which can help the other batters. I’d beinterested to see the numbers of who has played the most innings facing 100+ balls or even 80+ balls. From what I saw skimming through some numbers quickly of current and even older generation players Rajin Saleh seems to have been the best at this by quite some distance, but like said would be interested to see a more in depth look at this. Of course an average of 25/26 isn’t good enough which is why he got dropped but at least he had the proper intent.

পোলাপাইন তো ধৈর্য্য ধইরা লম্বা সময় খেলাটা শিখবো এই সময়েই, অথচ বিসিবি কখনও কখনও ৪০ওভারেও স্কুল ক্রিকেট খেলার ব্যবস্থা করে। লোক দেখাইন্না সেমিফাইনাল বা ফাইনাল "দুই দিন" কখনও সখনও খেলানো হয়, তবে সেইটা ঐ তিনটা খেলাতেই শেষ।

- আমগো চাইরদিনের খেলাটাতে মুটে ৮ দল
তারউপর আবার সেই দলগুলারে দুইটা ভাগ কইরা দু্ই স্তর বানাইয়া কোন রকমে প্রতি বছরে কয়টা খেলা হয়। যেইটাতে কয়েকজন মুখচেনারা একজন আরেকজনের সাথে খেইল্লা চলছে।
দুই স্তরের টেস্ট আমগো দেশ মানে না অথচ নিজেগো চাইরদিনের খেলার মূল প্রতিযোগিতারে দুই স্তর বানাইয়া রাখছে, খুবই কান্ডজ্ঞানহীন কাম এইটা।

- আমগো জাতীয় দল এবং অন্য দলগুলা বাইরের শক্ত দলগুলার সাথে দেশের বাইরে নিয়ম কইরা বারংবার অনেক খেলা খেলে না।

- জাতীয় নির্বাচকরা মাঠে গিয়া খেলা দেহে না বইল্লাই তাগো কার্যকলাপ কয়। নাইলে টেস্টে যে ভালা হইতে পারে তারে টি২০তে নেয়, আর একদিনের খেলাতে ভালোজনরে টেস্টে এইরকমটা হয় কেমনে?
তাগো "দেখি না কি হয়" মার্কা প্রতিভা চিনতে না পারাটাও একটা গন্ডগোলের কারণ।

আবার "এ" দল, অনূর্ধ্ব দল নিয়ম কইরা সারা বছরে ৪-৫টা চাইরদিনের খেলার সফর কইলাম রাখে না।
বরং এমনও রেকর্ড আছে যে সারা বছরে - জাতীয় দলের মতোই অন্য দলগুলাও একবারও দেশের বাইরে যায় নাই চাইর দিনের খেলা খেলতে।

তা এই যে নতুন পোলাপাইন দেশের বাইরে অন্য পরিবেশে চাইর দিনের খেলা খেইল্লা নিজেগো গইড়া তোলার সুযোগ কইরা নিবো তার সুযোগটা কই দিতেছে আমগো কর্তারা?

- আমগো চাইরদিনের খেলাটাতে মুটে ৮ দল
তারউপর আবার সেই দলগুলারে দুইটা ভাগ কইরা দু্ই স্তর বানাইয়া কোন রকমে প্রতি বছরে কয়টা খেলা হয়। যেইটাতে কয়েকজন মুখচেনারা একজন আরেকজনের সাথে খেইল্লা চলছে।
দুই স্তরের টেস্ট আমগো দেশ মানে না অথচ নিজেগো চাইরদিনের খেলার মূল প্রতিযোগিতারে দুই স্তর বানাইয়া রাখছে, খুবই কান্ডজ্ঞানহীন কাম এইটা।

- আমগো জাতীয় দল এবং অন্য দলগুলা বাইরের শক্ত দলগুলার সাথে দেশের বাইরে নিয়ম কইরা বারংবার অনেক খেলা খেলে না।

- জাতীয় নির্বাচকরা মাঠে গিয়া খেলা দেহে না বইল্লাই তাগো কার্যকলাপ কয়। নাইলে টেস্টে যে ভালা হইতে পারে তারে টি২০তে নেয়, আর একদিনের খেলাতে ভালোজনরে টেস্টে এইরকমটা হয় কেমনে?
তাগো "দেখি না কি হয়" মার্কা প্রতিভা চিনতে না পারাটাও একটা গন্ডগোলের কারণ।

আমার নিজের বুঝ উপরের কাজগুলা ঠিক করতে পারলে আমগো টেস্টে দেশের বাইরে এইরকম ভরাডুবি কইম্মা যাইবোগা.............
