I feel that things are going back to normal play now. Runs are coming as boundaries. Eng has passed the storm.

Ejaj,

The Lords pitch appears to have variable bounce - do you know if it did that when the Tigers played there ?

Ian

Thats what I want to tell. They have never won the world cup. What they really think of themselves. They might not be the worse. But they are not as good as they think. They dont really have the best bowller or had not ever. let alone the batsman.

I will object to that, becoz i do think the England players are quite good considering their recent past teams. They were struggling at the bottom of the table and have climbed up almost to the top. But all I have to say is one or two years doesn't really prove anything. England needs to perform consistently at least for about 4-5 yrs to show that they're the second best team if not better.
The Aussies have proven time and again that they're the rulers of World Cricket.

We have won nothing. So? If we had it would of been forgotton by now and wouldn't have any impact on the current team.

England are a good side, there is no denying that if you have sense but Australia are better, they have the experience and 1/2 the team will go down as greats of the game.

Please stop your England taunts, if Bangladesh were the side England were you would be glowing and thinking you are good as well, because you would be good.

Hey Rob... great performance from both teams. England.. I think. is just recovering from the storm. So.. interesting time ahead. Btw........ now.. I really think. a test match shoudnt be played on such bowler friendly wicket. its just not fun

i think its really fun to see bowlers kicking batsmen's behind. With the advent of ODI- these batsmen friendly rule changes and also Twenty-20 cricket bowlers are getting demoralised.
So its definitely good for the game when there's somewhat of a balance between the batsmen and the bowlers.
Coming back to the game- i'm not watching it but its looks like the Aussies are giving up the pressure by bowling too leg-side-ish.
Please let me know what you think(whoever's watching the match)

its a bowling friendly wicket ...but one thing to notice if u play ur shots u r comfortable here like Go Jones nd Pieterson ....nd Warne in Aus inning ...........so the game should be played with some aggresive approach

Right, OK.

All I can say is that we still have KP there and he could provide some fireworks tomorrow with the tail to get us up to 150.

If we get there we are only 40 behind and with the pitch playing up we should be able to bowl Australia out so we have a chasable target.

What an extraordinary day! 282-17!!!

See you all tomorrow,
